Can't install...
The remote doesn't work
I've tried several images apart this one, but none of them recognise the remote...

Wired.....after flashing I get crazy stuff at tv...

it shows flickering android with open body.....then black screen..... pinguins....blackscreen....the again black...nothing...black....

but it won´t boot...

Any Idea?

Because it's a beta ROM that still use old Rockchip sources that cause problems.

So i cannot flash on mk908 iii?

There are so many roms for v2 what is the big difference to v3?

Any other kitkat? Or do I have to make steps better?

- erase nand
- flash rom
- then do i have to leave it connectet after "run ok"
- do i have to flash while connected to tv?

My problem i cannot get this rom to boot up.

And on finless 1.8 i get so often wifi disconnect.

The official FW 4.4.2 beta boots up. But not this custom rom

Because it uses newer SDK, HDMI improvements etc.
Old ROM's with older SDK won't boot on your device.

But the screen is ugly - painful colours across the whole tv....and i cannot find any soloution.... searched the hole www.


and--- i even cannot get back to JB 4.2.2 trying to flash with different tools. and of course loader!




now after trying too much..it is not even recognized by Device Manager....so i got bricked

my fault - NOT THE ROM!!

Finally I got it WORKING!!! MK908 v3!!

I replaced boot.img, kernel.img and recovery.img from official MK908v3 update...

And everything works very fast!

- wifi - wow
- bluetooth - connecting and sound

amazon de - coulnd´t be installed because google play say "incompatible" - but via app share i got it to iinstall instant video prime...... and it is runnig fast.

will try to watch some movies later on and hope it will all keep runnning

This is my antutu result on my MK908ii running Finless 2.0 Beta ROM, flashed with a d33 kernel. That thing is snappy and sooo smooth! HOWEVER, the kernel brakes some stuff, namely, i cannot see/use my nand storage nor SD nor USB storage. also, for some reason it sees the battery as dead.

Now, this is the best performing combo i've found out there, is it possible to tweak the kernel so that it becomes fully compatible with this rom?

I have found this to be the only rom where my wifi works without connections constantly timing out. I don't know how Bob made this different from all other roms currently available but I am sticking to it as it is the only one making my stick's wifi usable.

I know this is a rather old thread and also my mk908II is a bit outdated, but I just installed this rom and works nice at this moment. One problem I found is the volume slider.
With my wify keyboard if I push the volume keys to increase or decrease the volume it goes to 0 or 100%
Any way to fix it
