No worries... Just tried to flash now it says unable to mount cache and metadata (invalid argument) Its formatted the rest but it looks like I'm stuck with the old ROM I had. (Katsy KitKat Rom) any thoughts?

When i receive my tablet in the next few days, it will probably have jellybean installed.

Do I have to upgrade to the stock Kitkat first before i install this Riley Kitkat Rom ?

No, that isn't necessary. Just make sure you leave the loader (top item) checked when you flash the first time.

Edit.... flashed again and I'm back to kitkat... same problems with the metadata. What does it say as version to confirm I'm on correct one? I'm pretty sure I'm not as I havent got your usual crazy boot animation

Is this giving you battery drain? I think there are some system apps that run the radio service, maybe you can delete them with Titanium

You may get an error in recovery, but when the tablet boots into the system, you should have the KitKat ROM.

Did you erase IDB before you flashed? This is a necessary step whenever you change to a different ROM.

I've been having problems with the IDB... It counts up to the 16 odd k then says complete... From there is says 0 out of 6 total but it still flashes okay... Any recommendations on that? My roms still flash okay.

I'm using the correct cable too.

                        Yeah, I noticed that, too.

You should be good, if the ROM flashed OK.

Problems with GPS and AUTO brightness

I have fleshed the new ROM but I think the GPS and the AUTO Brightness are not working.
I am not able to swits ON the GPS because there is not GPS menu element in the Setting menu.
Otherwise the ROM is very good.
                            Thank you for your work!!!
