how to reset device without reset button

I broke my device with bad apps and I try to reset without success (reset button broken). Is there any way to reset device manually ? I have GK525 and rkbatchtool or romflashtool do not see it. windows see my device but show me "this device can not be started" in device manager. I have good drivers 3.5.
The boot stay on "RBox" message...
    thanks

Wrong topic mikele, but I see, you are in trouble.
The only idea I have to short the the reset button with a paperclip inside the device for reflashing.
      Good luck.

        d33,
I'm sorry for milk accident you have today
I would be glad to join tester's crew here but cannot. You kernels have another USB Hub driver and leave my K-r42 without mouse and any usb connection.
But I have notised some strange thing.
I tried to test two last KitKat FWs, first one was by Finless and second by wasser. Both were tested with the same wasser kernel from his KitKat. I'm surprised because in first case GPU showed me with AnTuTu 2D+3D=980+3590 and 2D+3D=658+1990 in second.
I tried to compare dmesg outputs, but could not find any visible differences concerning CPU,GPU and RAM adjustment. But I could miss something.

          here are my tests:
1.5 with RAM - it seem's that CPU frequencie is 1.2-1.42
          Antutu crashes.
          managed to get DMESG: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...61/dmesg15.txt

1.6 with LOW voltage - after boot animation blank screen, second reboot - lines on the screen

1.7 override - blank screen, after reboot - after boot screen

1.8 override - CPU-Z shows frequencie 1.2 - 1.42, but after few sec blank screen...

I have something find out about GPU Overclocking.

Right now I am making a Rom for the MK902. I have overlooked the Kernel with the Tool from pjhanderson. I have got a 1,6 GHz Kernel with GPU Set to 600 MHz.
Then I Flash the Rom and see I only get 466 at max for the GPU, then I found out how to fix it.

In the Boot.img is the init.rc there is a Line for the Mali Freq.
There you can set the Overclock!

            insmod /system/lib/modules/mali.ko mali_dvfs=150,200,233,260,300,466,600

The Freq must be the same as in the Kernel.
            This Works !
            Before i get a Antutu 3D of 2000 now 2600.

              What your AnTuTu version is?
              Try 4.0.4
I use this for a long time and it never crashes.
Is your PS good anough? It looks like you have shortage of power. You can try to land PS from your router for test. They often have compatible 5V/2A output but much better quality.
              Check 5V!!!

pjhanderson pachomatic not working on all T devices... d33 managed to overclock KitKat ROM to 1.6 ghz, but it seems that GPU and RAM stays where it is. Maybe d33 CPU overclocking and Your GPU overclocking will be way to go...

it seems the CPU override is not working on these builds. However, the RAM is interesting. Loks like I'm making progress.

Could the results that you have experiencing during testing be due to the test kernels being incompatible with your Rom or your device, CS968??

d33 I guess there are too many device/rom configurations to know if kernels will work with any particular setup but are there any general rules, ie, a kernel is coded to work with a specific android version only - jb, kk etc? Or that it must be compatible with a particular rom or device/chip/wifi hardware set up?

I guess testing is the only definitive way to know???

                        I have a cr11s, 3188t, I am currently running this rom: CR11S_CS968_GT-19300_1080p_2MP_6210_OpenVPN_LibMedia.so

                        Location: http://fs09n3.sendspace.com/dl/220f8...LibMedia.so.7z

I am not sure how difficult/time consuming it is to write kernels - so this may not be practical - but would there be any merit in altering/OCing a rom's kernel that is known to run on a particular device? Obviously if JDefence answered 'no' to my initial question then this thought is redundant, haha.

Anyway, d33 and others who have been looking into this issue - Appreciate your time, you will make many people very happy once you have cracked this.

                        Two final questions:

                        1. I wish to do some testing, can you provide a link to instructions on how to flash a kernel only as opposed a whole rom.

                        2. If I get stuck in a boot loop or other issue, is it just a matter of re-flashing a rom, eg CR11S_CS968_GT-19300_1080p_2MP_6210..., with rkbatch tool to recover?

                            2. What does DMESG say your CPU is?
                            <6>[ 0.694482] CPU is ROCKCHIP RK3188T
                            3. What is the leakage level?
                            e.g <4>[ 0.693417] DVFS MSG: core: dvfs_adjust_table_lmtvolt get leakage_level = 6000
                            4. What are the Mali frequencies?
                            e.g. <4>[ 7.137633] Mali: mali freq table :Mali: 128,Mali: 179,Mali: 223,Mali: 297,Mali: 297,Mali: 446,Mali:
                            5. What are the RAM frequencies?
                            eg. <6>[ 1.863049] ddrfreq: normal 456MHz video 0MHz video_low 0MHz dualview 0MHz idle 0MHz suspend 198MHz reboot 222MHz
                            6. [antutu] What CPU frequencies are used?

The 1.8 'extreme' override overclocks a T kernel the same as a standard on (1.8 CPU/600 GPU/720 RAM)

Hey toose, I should better let d33 answer, but I have some words left for today.-)
The kernels here won't work for your device, but you can check it out for yourself. I don't know the reason so far.
After flashing the finless kitkat you can flash all kernels from d33 step by step and test it, if one boots complete for you.
Be careful or you brick your device.

These are all KitKat (4.4.2) kernels which require bootloader 2.x, jelly bean kernels require loader 1.x.

If you mix up kernel and loader then you will (temporarily) brick your device.

To be part of this test you will need to be confident in flashing kernels and accessing Androids command line.
