Hi d33,
Would you be so kind to teach me how I can take eFuse dump for my "T" 3188. If it is possible by using some terminal commands with your short explanation.
I could not stand with such kind of fraud (when they have 3188 in specification but ship us "T" in fact)and have my dispute with my Chinese seller been opened.
I need more evidence because I cannot remove heatsink and only one thing I have as evidence is AnTuTu screenshot line with 312-1416 specified.

As stated by others may be a T chipset did you open the unit or thats what they told you you have? Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

That shows nothing you would have to pull off the heat sink and check the CPU, or run d33 check on it as normally damage to board getting heat sink off unless you know what your doing. Version 3 main board and your saying locked at 1.4 so I think you got T chipset, but only two ways to check run d33 check or remove heat sink. Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

If you'd run the test that has been suggested a few times now... you would know more.
I'm still not sure why you'd post a picture of the CPU with the heat sync still on it IF you had actually removed it at some point... it was a useless picture to post if it wasn't one of the CPU itself.

I hope he does test it and if its not the ROM locking it would confirm a thought finless had on same that maybe even some of the 3188 had been locked by rockchip? Would explain way so many boxes dont install roms other then stock. Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I have tested on a 'standard' RK3188 and can confirm this boots and outputs the message to DMESG but can't test the T overide
Thanks

Yes having the dmsg and Rom build if locked at 1.4 will be interesting to see. Why if in chipset then the rabbit hole just got deeper.

If possible can you do as D33 asked and post very interested in those results. Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Re: Blacklist of locked Down Version´s of RK3188 CPU
@finless, have you had a chance to play around with your MK908ii with the 3188T yet? I've ordered one, awaiting delivery, and would love some feedback on which ROMs work without flickering, overheating etc.
Otherwise I guess I'll be stuck with stock
