So, basicaly I just put a ZIP with the clocks I want to "quickflasher" folder and launch quickflasher app and let it do all the magic?
Or should I reboot to CWR and do it manualy from SD card instead?
What is your recommended method to flash a new kernel?

Should I clear chaches after I'm done?

Yes so simple than that, take a kernel, rename it to kernel.img, zip it in a file ended _quickflasher.zip put it inside /sdcard/quickflasher/ and flash it using quickflasher

I've just saved my current ROM using CWR, give new kernel to quickflasher and et vualia!
From stock 18000 something to 19572 in AnTuTu (1704/Stock/720). GUI is fast and fluid.


Hands are itchi to try 1800 CPU now

Now I'm gonna spend some time solving slow torrents issue (or finding out there's nothing to be done about it...)

The connection in this minipcs are not so good like at pc. In most cases Ethernet and wifi share the bandwidth with USB, and this devices use a 100Mbps theoretical Lan speed. The test I made with wifi and ethernet got about 27Mbps, almost all my internet bandwidth speed (30Mbps).

Please if you got 80-90Mbps with any rom in this device, please tell us, and we take a look on it.

I am experince the same here, my ISP internet speed is 150Mb, and i could get the full speed using LAN laptop (win7) with speed tested 100Mb (http://www.speedtest.net/), for minix x7, the max i could get at only 30Mb. i am not sure why, maybe andriod 4.2.2 system runing only 32Bit or less? as compared to Windows 7 64Bit system structure??

on my setup i use cpu1704_gpu_stock_ddr720, and it's pretty stable, i don't like going up to 1800. just my 2 cent.

This rom is the most stable rom i ever had. my setup is 1800_gpu_stock_ddr720, it running fast speed smooth from day 1 till now.. i can say, it is very stable and awesome rom. XBMC flawless..

32 or 64 bits I dont think it is the problem, I think that problem is in the bus used to connect to processor, usb 2.0 maybe is not enough to got better speed. That is my thinking about that.

NFS in XBMC

First of all , a nice ROM thank you! Netflix and youtube working very nice.

Used the CWM update , because i had Lewyś JustXBMC on board.
The installation was a breeze.
I stumbled over some strange behaviour in xbmc.
regardless of version (i also tried beyond xbmc 3.1) i cannot add a second NFS share..?
The first i can add without a problem.
When i browse for a second NFS share it just hangs.
Have you encountered this behaviour , or is it just me..?

I have 3 nfs shares on mine and just working fine.
Try to reflash but this time use the pc method. Be sure to make a erase idb before flashing.

HDMI Passthrough

Hello all..

Any news on HDMI Passthrough ?

As said before, DD5.1 and DTS is working fine in MX Player.
But it's not working at all in XBMC, justXBMC or any other version, i think i have tryed all so far..
Alot of them dont even have HDMI option for sound, SPMC had this option, but only scratched came out of speakers

- Would be very happy if this could be made somehow, dont know if it's ROM or XBMC ?
Something is telling me that XBMC is the problem and not the ROM as MX player is ok ?

I noticed it too, and we are searching for a solution, I tried minix xbmc and beyond xbmc and both have the same problem with my Sony home cinema, we are working on it.But is the first time I connected the minix X7 to spdif, we hope to fix it soon.

We know that when everything goes well only a few people feedback, only when something goes bad the feedback is big, but with this Rom we are getting a lot of positive feedback, and we are happy with it , please, don't misunderstand us, we want to know all that don't work or all suggestions to improve the rom, so we can try to fix it and improve the rom, but the big amount of positive feedback make us happy , behind a Rom released by any of developers here there are so many hours and days in front of the pc solving problems and implementing things, so all of us (not only our team) appreciate a lot the positive feedback too

We are looking for a solution to this, we tried to use all libmedia.so, but any of them seems to work in xbmc, using other players like mx player all goes fine we are working on it. No special config work for me, of course if some of user got spdif working in xbmc, please tell us how you got it.

1800h/798h/720h is the best kernel for this rom if you play games. After 3hours of non stop Modern Combat 4 and Asphalt 8 Airborne playing on maxed out settings no heat problems and stable so far. Atuntu is around 21250. Only this kernel runs this great, higher kernels are unstable for my device. And I had no FPS decrease or stuttering... Both games run very well in 1080p. Cant get Real Racing 3 to work, Google play says x7 is not supported, but I believe opposit. Really nice work, now I know what I can do with this tv box keep up the good work!

Only Minix X7 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 3.2 by lewy20041 can run this Aps, why?

Maybe you can help me out? I love your ROM but so far the only way I could run this apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....android&hl=en) is with the Minix X7 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 3.2 by lewy20041. With stock MINIX ROM no matter the version, Finless 1.8 ROM, etc this apps crashes either on the first run following the initial install or after a reboot.

Not sure if you can reproduce with you own setup (the apps has a free 7 days trial)? Would be willing to spend some time to help you debug if you guide me through the process.

I suspect that if we can find the problem the solution would be applicable to every stock/custom ROM. Let me know if you ready for the challenge.

Downloads Real Racing 3 to my phone and upped it to the cloud. Let me know if it works
