Standby i will make a seperate one for B version....i should have done that in the first place....Might take a couple days...or if someone knows the files for bluetooth i can make a cwm patch.

Actually send me requests for adds/removes and ill make a new version.

After install rename the cwm file and put on your sd card or flash only the cwm recovery image after it boots one time normally.If you do on the first flash the nand never gets formatted.

Prahjister - just about to go for install ( backing up now ). Still a bit worried about your CWM instructions. My experience in the past with CWM is just boot to CWM recovery, and install from zip

What are you talking about in the above quote? Is this for someone that doesn't have CWM installed at all?

I have the CWM zip on my external SD card, and was just going to do "install from zip" like I do for other CWM roms ... should not be a problem, right?

I believe it's for those that don't have CWM. Renaming the file to update will install recovery. Just flash like you've done in the past if CWM is already installed in your Rom.

Yes, I think so. Flashed. Unfortunately ... when I went to reboot ... something bad happened and now I get now blue light, and plugging it into a PC doesn't do anything either ( both OTG or power ) I think I killed it. CRAP, total bummer. I think I wasn't very careful, and tried to unplug the keyboard i was using while it was rebooting, and somehow that shorted it out? dunno ... but i can't get it to recognize anywhere i plug it in ... so i have to think its dead dead. ( not just bricked )

it does seem to get warm when its plugged in....so it might be doing something, but I can't seem to talk to it in any of the normal ways.

if anyone has a suggestion, i'm open.

I'm back!! Forgot how finnicky the mk808 is. I had to find a PC with something besides Windows 8.1 ( in 8.1, I was getting bad USB device ) Found my old vista machine, plugged it in and was able to get to the flash tool.

Reflashed, now its up and running.

Still have a question about the parameter file. Pretty sure my mk808 has 8g space -- which parameter file do i want to use? I couldn't find a post detailing the choices and what is appropriate.

I thinks you have already BT fies in rom because when i'm click on BT in widget BT is enabled but i did not seen settings for BT in settins panel, i believe you can enable the settings for BT adding android.hardware.bluetooth.xml fie into system/etc/permissions adding this file permission rw-r--r--
By the way i'm downgrade to 4.1 reason Skype bug in 4.2 in many tested 4.2

Someone please test and if it works i will add to first post....Thank you Adainair...ill test Skype...i haven't tried it yet....still use Ipad for skype most of the time.

I dont think it worked.....i patched my non b.....and it didnt put in settings...i wonder if you have to use the RK apps i removed?

rkremote + dts passthrough?

so far loving this rom

2 questions, and both may be a no-go on the 808.

anyone know how to get rkremote working? i don't see it in the folder of removed apps ( although not all the names are obvious ) I tried downloading one from rikomagic, but it didn't seem to work ( i was hoping this rom would have fixed the "only over wifi" issue, but maybe I was dreaming.

multi-channel sound ( dts passthrough ) i set the sound to "rockchip hdmi 5 channel output" and got nothing...crossing my fingers i'm just missing something. ( going to read some of the other threads on it - i know there is a combination of settings that needs to be right between xbmc and the ROM )

ok - answered my own question for the rkremote. just install ehomemediacenter ( from the folder of stock apps ) then make a share, and have it start automatically. i tested through a reboot - worked great ( no wifi, ethernet only )

Add this file in syste/etc/permissions and overwrite current (check permissions), sorry i am already on 4.1 then i can't test it for you.

I got an old version of skype to work...first call worked great...i rotated my camera but ever since then i havent been able to rotate it....any clues

I just try the room, goes really smooth and really clean. thanks again for the work. As I mention before one of the apps that I need to use is wifi display,i installed from your zip. For now on at least in video is the smoother that I have ever try in any Rom but there is not sound. What can I do to put the sound?
