The Media Cenre ROM doesn't have a Youtube issue, read the last posts to use Youtube.

I cant test HDMI passthrough. But it should work since it works on standard rom

Thanks. Looking forward to the next release. I just hope someone is able to unlock the kernel on mk808 for scaling and better performance.

Hi, I use this rom as my current daily driver....I don't know if the cpu scaling is locked or the rom has a problem reporting the cpu tables as it scales...For example, cooltools reports a locked cpu speed at 1000 however, Setcpu shows it actually scaling and when you change the frequencies and test with antutu, you get various changes in peformances. Anyone else want to chime in to confirm...

Confirmed. SetCPU is the only tool that shows the correct frequency. This is not a new problem, it was present in every stock kernel so far.

Which kernel did you use to get 15050....highest i got was about 14110.

its wierd i do see set cpu changing the cpu but it doesnt show in the history...it only shows 1ghz. 100%

kernel stock your rom, if you use airflow you can have high points antutu.
cpu not scales but it is a bug, not really blocked at 1Ghz , 15000 with dualcore at 1ghz......impossible

I with Nexus 7 tegra 3 overclocked at 1,5ghz max 16000 but it is a quadcore than rk3066 up 1,4 or 1,6ghz but trickstermod/nofrill etc dont see it.

Uhost2 use rk903 and mk808b firmware ok, but if i use firmware/kernel uhost2 wifi/bt KO.

Mandrake got me looking....uhost 2 has a kernel 1080 kernel that works well but no hdmi passthrough...just a few minutes of testing with a movie that pauses with stock plays smooth...gui performance takes a hit but that is understandable ....latest what looks to be 720 doesnt work on my mk808...i see why now it is 4.1.1...trying lastest 4.2.2 and will let you know....

how important is 1080 with no passthrough...should i make cwm installable? and if so should i go ahead and set density or let you guys....if you modified build.prop i would write over it....i dont know how to change one line or know if possible.

I am generally unhappy with the geekbuying 4.2 rom (407, from November) compared to Digitop's Walkman 4.1 ROM, but I see that you have included KitKat Launcher in this ROM, which I would love to try. Did all you have to do is remove the garbage Apps included with the Geekbuying ROM to get it to reach such a high benchmark score?

Yes i just took the base and removed all the bloat out of it. I prefer to have a clean base and not too many features. they did a pretty good job on the firmware. Only thing that was needed was to add updated libstagefright. Kit Kat launcher works really well once you update the google apps. I wasnt able to get 15000 on antutu but can get low 14000....OK Google works well with my microphone on my cam except i have to manually reboot it after every reboot...might work on init.d to automagically do it. the 1080 that i took from uhost 2 does pretty well too....13400 for 1080 is pretty respectful....i wish i could change the stock kernel to 1080...
