It is better to flash the whole ROM if you flash the system.img. If you don't erase idb, you risk having leftover parts of the previous ROM. The only difference is that addition of the standard keyboard...and removal of a few Chinese apps.

I didn't change the libril this time. Too many complaints from 3g users.

He put a great deal of work into adding custom icons in the settings app. Kudos to him. If anyone can share his name with me, I will be happy to credit him here for his work.

A fine ROM indeed. Smoothest one so far.
It's interesting how rk3188 shines on the Pipos where JB was pretty mediocre (understatement), despite being a far more mature platform.
It doesn't actually feel like the same hardware...

Just WOW
Randy, you're the man
My initial assumption seems to have been right
Deep sleep is enabled with this KitKat libril-rk29-dataonly file, and signal power is correctly reported to system (3-4 signal lines for me indoor).
20098 is my Antutu score
We have new settings to enable/disable 3G modem power and to choose between 2G/3G network types.
IMEI number is present, shown in "About tablet/Status" section.
This is by far the best M9 Pro ROM ever made.
I will post some screenshots later after more digging.
L.E
I found a bug, maybe is related to am incomplete dictionarry - Letter "Ț" (present in Romanian language) is missing sometimes in menu context
To enable Deep Sleep (only for those with M9Pro with 3G) :
1. Remove SIM card and insert only when needed.
When no SIM inserted modem power will be disabled by default
2. After every Sart/Restart enter in settings and uncheck Modem Power...i use 3G On/Off Widget by PotaLand ..just 2 clicks needed to enable/disable modem power (more convenient than wasting time to rename two different libril-rk29-dataonly)
This time I think the inability to store setting "modem power off" is not due libril file.Last edited by Edius; 09 April 2014, 00:27.
