Edge Xuan is the Chinese developer who provided the firmware on the Pipo BBS. If you see post #1, I gave him credit for his work. While he put a lot of work into this ROM, I did update it significantly with my own tweaks....so, I don't think it is plagiarism at all. Since I don't have access to more recent Pipo firmware, I was thinking that there are some M9 Pro users who would be happy to have an update. Therefore I've posted this new ROM here on Freaktab.

OK, I'm REALLY confused about this init.d problem.
Are you sure you flashed MY boot.img? I just checked my kitchen scripts and the init.rc file within my boot.img and the correct entries are THERE.
I have init.d scripts working just fine on my tablet with the ROM flashed AS IS.
Please verify this for me, because I'm not sure where the problem is.
Although I've been updating my kitchen scripts in the past few days, I haven't changed anything to do with init.d support from my previous ROM's.Randy

about plagiarism, I was aware that if you remake the firmware do not change the boot logo and animation.
And just put a patch to replace animatsii.Ya hope you will correct Init.d, and I shall try the full capabilities of your joint creation

I've read that their plans were 2nd quarter of 2014...which is now, right?
My best guess is June or July, because there are always delays in new rollouts.
Steer away from the pre-sales. Don't get your money tied up in an endless loop of delays. Wait for them to show they are actually in stock.Randy
