RR 2.7.1 broken
Hi,
I do have two Pipo M9 Pro 3G's. The other one is for testing purposes. I did flash the 2.7.2, and everything else is very fine, but the GPS is NOT working in it. At least I think it did work with the 2.7.1. The download link in page one doesn't extract correctly! Is there another place I could download it and see, weather it works better in GPS?

Follow the flashing instructions -you must be ok with this as you have a finless rom! Everything is set up from the zip file and it works without touching anything. Make sure the erase works first. I had to do this three times before I saw the memory count properly. Watch the numbers, don't assume it is OK. It is going BACK from kitkat to jb that you then need to be careful and make sure the loader is checked - but there seems to be no need to go back. RRom2.7.2 seems as stable as Finless1.5 (so far) and everything is working for me.
Will follow the instruction.

Testing results of the latest 2.7.2
Dear Randy and all members,
I have just completed a complete test of the latest RR 2.7.2 and (as it may disappoint some ...) all is working well INCL. GPS (believe it or not...).
I did nothing extraordinary beside downloading and flashing. No hanky-penky...
Thanks Randy

Flashed the new Rom by Randy yesterday and all I have to say is WOW!
Blazing fast (noticable difference from 4.2.2). Especially when opening the task manager! (which was a bit of a problem for us OCDed nerds).
So, everything fine, but, I do had the tablet frozen a couple of times unexpectedly, while doing different things (I had this before very frequently with a previous rom, can't remember if it was Riley's or Finles's).
Now, to be honest, it feels a little awkward to see it's freezing even while in idle (I woke up today a bit late, as I had set an alarm on the tablet which never worked, and it had a black screen, backlit, frozen to the point that only the reset button made it work).
I will try removing most apps, maybe reset to defaults, and start by adding apps one by one through the Market, as I suspect that previous data from previous versions of roms may interfere with the apps.
Overal though, I see many issues with previous roms being fixed (Netflix was one of the apps, that was not working as expected, I had to touch 3 times on the screen to get the playback controls).
Thank you Randy for your time, and keep up the good work!
(I'll let you know if the issue with freezing persists)
PS. You guys think that logcat could trace the fatal error that creates the freezes? Does logcat keeps a log saved somewhere, or should I use a logcat viewer to record it?

Thanks for the feedback.
If you installed any system data from a previous ROM, it could cause freezing problems.
When I do a restore from Titanium, I only install "Missing Apps with Data". That only installs the data associated with the apps...not from the old system. You might try reflashing and try that.
If you can catch a logcat when a freeze happens, it would be handy.Randy

It might not be related, but so long as it doesn't comeback, I'll be happy.

Everything is working fine nice and smooth and fast. However my WiFi keeps dropping internet. Shows connected but hangs and have to switch on and off when this happens. It is even worse when battery is below 50%...When I was on Finless WiFi was solid no problems so it is not hardware issue.Did try different routers and hotspots with same results where everything is working fine on my other devices.
Am I the only one with this issue?

One thing to try is switching to B-G instead of N on your router. I've read from others who have solved their dropouts doing that. Or, switching channels at least.Randy
