OK, I finally managed to reproduce the issue where the tablet will freeze (well, at least I know WHEN it's happening).
This happens ONLY when the tablet is connected with the power adapter. I haven't noticed if that's when the tablet is fully charged (thus, using the power from the adapter and not the battery's), or when it's charging (can't remember if the freezes started after it was fully charged or before).
At the moment, the tablet is turned on for more than 24 hours, without a single restart/freeze (amazing power saving btw).
For sure, 4.2.2 doesn't behave like that (I know because I use the tablet mostly while connected to the power adapter, I just don't want to run out of battery cycles too soon).
Randy, do you think that file you posted could do the trick in my situation as well?
(bear in mind that I have a WiFi only M9Pro).

I'm not sure that patch would make any difference there. It just affects the 3g modem power.

Randy, is there any performance difference between v.2.7.1 and v.2.7.2? I'm barely getting 17000 on Antutu with v.2.7.2 and I didn't know how different it was from the first version.

The ROM is based on the same firmware version.

The only difference is that 2.7.2 is mainly stock...without Edge Xuan's mods...that's it.

Hi Randy,
Not a good report today for you I am afraid, BUT I think it is just a user error by me. I copy pasted the lib fil rk29 to the relevant system folder yesterday, but to be honest I am not entirely sure I followed your other instructions correctly! I did not make sure it had execute permission and I am not sure I rebooted - RTFM for sure! However, now I have checked permissions on the file and it has execute permissions already. I have also now rebooted just in case I didn't properly last night. Overnight I got the normal 1% per hour drain - I will report in again tomorrow. Just thought I would share this with everybody as I was unsure about the execute permissions bit until I checked permissions on the file in ESFile explorer where it is as clear as day! I just hope sharing my mistake helps others avoid the same.

Overnight update......no change, 11% drop after 9 hours sleep. Flight mode on, with wifi on. Cpuspy tells me 68% deep sleep and battery stats says google play services is using most power, but mobile is also using more than wifi even though it is off! I think I have a rogue tablet.
I have now installed KKMod R4 which can be found on a post by elmachinegun - this solved my problem overnight with me doing nothing but flashing the ROM. 8hours sleep, 3% drain.

Clash of Clans didn´t work with ROM 2.7.2. I just tried. All in all, the ROM is great. If someone knows how to get to work it, please tell me. It´s much harder play with my S2 than PIPO M9Pro.

You could try xposed installer and use "xposed app settings" and give it a try with a lower resolution/dpi
I have had issues with games not starting or simply look rubbish with a high resolution tablet.
Might be worth a shoot?

Regarding 2.7.2 could you please see if the device goes down to deep sleep, for me 2.6 was the only working version with deep sleep even with sim in slot.

The problem is that this game and Hay Day uses full screen on KK. And this can not be configured. Game freezes and only moves when unfolding notification area. When folded again, game freezes.

IMPORTANT: DON'T OPEN ANY INTERFACE THAT SHOW THE NAVIGATION BAR, LIKE KEYBOARD. This will freeze again the screen.

This problem showed up after the update of the game to introduce the clan wars and apparently it is a common problem for all devices with KK. There is absolutely no problem with this rom and hopefully this will be resolved with a future game update as lots of people have complained.

A temporary fix to this problem is to go to Developer Options and check the Disable HW Overlays. This will solve the problem with the screen refreshing as well as the shaking/vibrating keyboard. However you will need to check again this option every time you reboot the tablet. Also the overall performance/smoothness of the table will be a bit worse. I have even noticed worse scores in the area of 1000 points in antutu with this option checked.

First off I'd like to say hello to everyone here and thank you for all the information this forum has. I've been reading through posts for the last few days.

I just ordered an m9pro on Saturday, so I'm still waiting on its arrival. I've been tossing up whether I should flash finless 1.5, or this RR 2.7.2KK. What it's gonna come down to is clash of clans working or not. Has this been fixed yet does anyone know?

System UID Inconsistent message after re-flashing 2.7.2

Out of the blue I get this message at every start up after re-flashing 2.7.2 and restoring my apps. Never happened before. What's funny is that the message encourage to wipe the data partition..., which naturally I don't and just continue].
Is there anyone with an idea of how to get rid of this message or even an explanation where it comes from ?
[there are several suggestions on the net but none of them is of any value]

As i said in my previous post. Clash of Clans works properly, just every time you reboot the tablet remember to check the Disable HW Overlays option. I have been testing the last 1,5 months all available roms either JB or KK and i concluded that this is the most stable/smooth one.

So my suggestion is to go with the KK 2.7.2

Ok.. My m9 should be here soon, it shipped out yesterday via DHL expedited. Just FYI I have two devices (Nexus 7, Nexus 5) running stock KK and they don't have any problems with clash of clans.
