    Help: another request for inverted Y axis.

    In 4pda.ru give the following as a route to recompile the driver ct363:

    /drivers/input/touchscreen/ct36x/ct363.c

    And this is the edition required:

    ct363-> x = ts-> orientation [0] * x + ts-> orientation [1] * y;
    ct363-> y = TS-> orientation [2] * x + ts-> orientation [3] * y; / / These lines Immediately after ct363-> x = TS-> x_max - ct363-> x; / / Axis "x" ct363-> y = TS-> y_max - ct363-> y; / / Axis "and"

    I hope this could help you to solve soon

    Thanks
    As mentioned by several others I also need ROM with inverted Y axis.
    I was using 2.4 and managed to damage my front screen, got replacement from BangGood and after fitting M9 was responsive BUT Y axis inverted
    With another Kernel mentioned here: got it working but very sluggish and prob not totally compatible with RR 2.4
    Any chance we can have this option on 2.5 or the new KitKat ROM, many thanks in advance.
    From what I have read this is a common fault, hope you can find time to fix this soon

      Hi,

      I encounter a problem with version 2.5.3. Whenever I start my tablet does not recognize me my SD card. I have to remove it, then put it back for it to be recognized.

        Strange but not related to 2.5.3 rom.
        Maybe an hardware issue?

            guys, i'm in a bind here. my m9 max has a faulty power port and won't charge anymore. It's still in warranty, so I intend to have it repaired (plus, I wouldn't be able to fix it myself even if I wanted to). I'm required to fill in an RMA form, which requires me to state my device's IMEI number. problem is the device says that the imei is unknown... I'm on rileyrom 2.5.2. Please tell me what to do in order to access my device's imei number!!! It's about to run out of power and I'm afraid that the seller may decline the RMA unless I provide this information...

              Unless it's somewhere on the box, or literature that came with the tablet, I'm afraid I don't know how to access it. It's a rare issue, but I'm pretty sure the IMEI number gets erased when you flash a custom ROM.

                Holy Jesus!! You mean to say that the IMEI is for ever lost?! The literature doesn't identify it. They'll declare the warranty void for sure... Darn it!!

                  If your tablet is NOT a 3G version, I.e. WiFi only then would there be an IMEI number? I thought the IMEI number was only for 3G.

                    Imei's are used to identify devices that connect to GSM networks.
                    Your tablet don't have a IMEI number if it's a wifi only version.
                    Pipo never requested my IMEI number, just the S/N (back of the tablet)

                      Hi all I solved my problem SD card that was not recognized at the start of the tablet.

                      What I did:
                      I re-installed version 2.5.3 but this time by checking the first box Loader and everything works fine.

                      If that little someone to troubleshoot this problem.

                        Guys, that's exactly my problem. it is a 3G version!! Even if they don't declare the warranty void, I'll never be able to use GSM unless I have an IMEI... I gotta be able to solve this... even if it means going back to stock rom... will that bring my IMEI back?

                          Not good news from me...

                          I had a quick Google and all I could come up with was that titanium backup might have backed up your IMEI number, but it is probably a bit of a long shot (do you have that app, did you back up your apps before loading a custom ROM, do you still have the backup and so on).

                          I think Randy mentioned it might be on the original box but do you still have that?

                            There is a chance that your carrier has the imei number on file...if you have used it with them. You might check with them. Once you obtain it...we can look into putting it back.

                              Thanks for your answers, DarrenNewsGroup and Randy. Really appreciate it. Guess I'm in trouble. I have never used titanium backup. At least, not that I can remember. Even if I ever did, it's long gone by now...
                              Also, the freakin' box and literature have no reference to the IMEI number. Up till now, I have not used a GSM data service, so there's no carrier to assist me.
                              You don't suppose PIPO would give me the IMEI number if I gave them the tablet's serial number, right?
                              It's starting to look like I'll end up with a non-3G m9 max 3G...

                                That's an issue I really never thought of until I started development of MTK ROM's for phones and phablets. Until now, none of these Chinese 3G tablets ever worked here in the USA...so I never really payed attention.

                                MTK has a very usefull tool that backs up the IMEI number and restores it easily after flashing a new firmware. As far as Rockchip is concerned, I don't know of a way to do it.

                                I tried Googling this subject last night, but I never found anything useful.
