You cant by default. Go to google Play and get a APP called nolock. It works.

just downloaded 2.1a, for the those of you new to Bobs roms and flashing I find its always worth downloading Bobs updates even if minor ones. Bob does seem to be a perfectionist and wanting to squeeze every bit of potential from my little 10g2 he can so if he feels it warrant an update who can offer a sensible argument not to?
once again thanks for all your sterling work my friend - Kudos

First post in this thread. See the link about "what CWM is".
In my Readme I also explain it but not as good as that link!
Best I can give you as I already have typed all this up. No need to type it up yet again. Sorry...
If after reading that you still have questions, feel free to ask!

So CWM is to do a backup of your entire ROM. So you can backup, flash a different ROM, play around, and restore the old ROM back with all the APPs, settings, etc you had installed on it.
However restoring data across different ROMs can be trouble. System apps could be different versions and thus the data they store may not be cross compatible. So in general you really should not do restores of data between ROMs.
So again it allows you to play with other ROMs and try them and if you want ot go back, easily go back to the previous ROM and everything you had setup.
Another use is maybe setup a gaming system with tons of games. Back it up. Now bring up a new clean setup for say work or whatever. Now you can switch between the setups pretty quickly.

I dont usually update the version with the letter. As long as the file name you downloaded said 2.1a your good. You cannot download just 2.1 anymore as I removed it.
