xbmc which can Play 4k/rmvb/h265 video on amlogic s802 platform

2.No video audio aysn issue.

I have installed the 13.2 version in post #1 on my s89-h with 107k4 rom from june.
This xbmc version and the preinstalled 14.0 alpha 1 oman, the official 14.0 alpha 2 and the official 13.2 give me all the same problems on my av-out: audio out of sync and horizontal tearing when camera is moving.
Is this a rom problem or av-out problem or do I need to use another xbmc version?

EDIT: when I use mxplayer as an external player in xbmc, everything is okay (but this is not a good solution for me obviously).

FW => FirmWare => OS => OperatingSystem => e.g. Android....
and I think he means "use everything but not the last 2 FW's at the square one box (released at 08.2014)"

any ideas where to get the older firmware? I only started having the interlace problem when I flashed to finless 1.8 maybe I should use 1.7?
Any ideas would help since I'm learning all this as I go

I don't own the square M8 (Tamato/ENY) but if I remember correctly 1.7 is "state of the art"...

i just installed it and it's working just fine now. It is just like TM and u said it's definatly the newer firm wares.
Also for anyone else having the interlace problems, use the Finless 1.7 , install the xbmc helix alpha 2 and only use libstagefright UNCHECK amcodec and MediaCodec, that solved my interlace and stuttering problems so far

I have a box M8 MX Amlogic Android 4.4 Kitkat Quad Core 4 k 5 g Wifi TV Box XBMC Media Player and installed the latest version of xbmc, a nightly Kodi of 29 August. I can watch movies, but I have to have the amcodec off to see image. It turns out that some 720 p movies creep and I saw a forum to enable Libstagefright and so I can see all movies 720 p 1080 p movies, but the box restart. How can I fix this? Being a box amlogic shouldn't have the amcode enabled?

I have many ORIGINAL SQUARE M8 units by ENY/ACEMAX & I had recently updated them to the latest 0807-2014 Firmware from ACEMAX and well XBMC's hardware decoding went right out the window!! that is until I came across

I would assume it's probably the Kodi/XBMC build try uninstalling it and go back to a more stable release like Gotham , I have the Kodi/XBMC Helix Alpha 2 build and I only have libstagefright checked otherwise I get lags I mentioned that a few posts up. That build works fine for me

How can i change this option in the xbmc version that came with finless 1.9 ROM?

At main screen, go to system, setting, video (go all the down to the list to enable expert for settings level).
Then go to eccelaration where you can enable/disable option. I am not sure if this makes any differences. If you screw up the settings, just set them back as defaults
