But the Customs and DHL Fee is surprisingly huge -> 35,42 Euro = 46,73 Dollar !

i send email and PM with the Customs/DHL receipt.

The Problem is that you didn't declare it as a commercial sample with a value below 20$. That plus the DHL Express Fees make that high amount.

DHL guy just accepts cash.

Just look at the DHL pricelist. They didn't declare it as a commercial sample with a value under 20$. Plus its DHL Express.

I got another package today. Value 90$ --> Had to pay allmost the same.

How do they calculate it? Using the 50USD + shipping costs?
At German we have to pay 19% tax and less then 150EUR no duty, so I think it will be ~7.30EUR without the shipping costs which I don't know at the moment and which will also 'cost' 19%...

Guys,the money you paid or you will pay are not for custom office fees but an extra charge of dhl as customs clearance agent fee (NO MATTER if your parcel is free of customs fees ), they do it in all packages with price over 20$ coming from China to Europe and contains electronic or electrical goods. That's why DHL adviced Oman to declare 50 $ per piece

im from germany and i got my r89 this morning
i had to pay 35€ cash, which is nothing compared to the power this device offers

my last device was UG007 and this is some major upgrade

it comes with a great launcher, called light launcher, i saw people asking for this kind of launcher in other threads.

1080p didnt seem to work, my tv reported 1080p but i had big black borders..
lucky there is some screenscale settings and i needed to adhust the settings

i successfully connected my bluetooth mouse (which didnt work on the ug007) and im goin to install the essential apps now

spdif passthrou is working for sound.. lets see if i get some dolby digital
wow the its acting kinda crazy, normal sound is working also in video files,
the r89 comes with 4 media players:
-video player
-google gallery
-ehomemedia center
-xbmc

only xbmc was able to play the audio on ac3 file, but my receiver didnt show dolby digital
the other 3 player produce static noise on ac3 audio.
im goin to try some more files..


rkremote v1.1.0 app doesnt work :/ i guess thats why they pulled it from playstore,

the r89 shows up instantly, thats great i saw people wanting some ir remote or 2,4 ghz remote in other threads.. use this app on your smartphone or tablet and you dont need any other remote




i tried a movie from popcorntime, which killed the android os, couldnt click anything.. had to reboot :/ but it was the first time i ever tried the app on any device.. after reboot bluetooth mouse was lost



i tried a 3d movie, working great exept for dolby.. lets see

Sync, there are several versions of rkremote and i guess there will be one compatible with rk3288 soon. Also it needs a server built into the os. I think it is part of home media center app.
