I have flashed this rom but by box not starting when i flashed v3 its work fine. i don't what i am doing wrong i have flashed twice but result is the same. Can you please help me ?

Done everything Step by Step. Received ERROR: Download file failed
No when I press erase NAND on QS V2 rkandroidtool see only 2048 not 4096. So I think I just bricked my box...

Just keep both reset and power button pressed down during the whole flashing process and if the first time it fails ,disconnect, reconnect and do it the second time the same way with both buttons pressed. I went from KK to JB several times and this method never failed me. (and I run Win 7 in a virtual machine on a Mac)

Maybe first need to look at the specs of the DAC?

I am talking about HDMI digital passthrought. The internal DAC should not be involve...

QS V3.1 is very good rom, colours and speed is beautiful. I needed to go back to JB because iStream is not working at all on xbmc gotham. After xunity team reales iStream for Gotham xbmc I will switch back to this rom.

istream works absolutely perfect for me on gotham and kit kat

Is curious because in any version Nitro did not have this problem. Through the HDMI audio in my minix is perfectly synchronized and I have not changed any settings to have it so.


Try to install a previous version of XBMC without removing the new one that is not overwritten to my knowledge to personal experiences, and see how it goes...

agree ...
although xbmz is very reactive, some plug-ins (important fort me) do not work ...
Now I try to uninstall it, saving origina XBMZ apk and install xbmc 13.0

Seems to be that the plug-ins don't work (connect) at all for now, neither on QS or HWG rom, though it HAS worked on the latter (HWG), which makes it even more strange...

I don't know why, software works in mysterious ways , but for me it was just like this. The ROM needed some convincing.

I did not understand what your problem is. You do not install the ROM?


You have made the transition from 3 to 3.1? Or did you install from scratch v3.1?


I installed from scratch (because I had the v.2) with the classic method RKDeviceManage and everything went well the first time (flickering apart )


If the ROM starts regularly and not part of the configuration of Google when the ROM was started simply start Playstore ...

how can i remove this cwm to install thi rom..cause i dont get recogniced as a device on my pc to flash this rom.

I don't know why, software works in mysterious ways , but for me it was just like this. The ROM needed some convincing.

Contrary to what you say (statements which I do not contest, but I appreciate as contribution ) I know that the reset button (the one to press with a stick), it should be released as soon as RKtool recognizes the device . . . Only the power button must be held down for the entire process... however it is not important.

I would also like to get 24/96 hi-res audio music as wheel as multichannel.

I am really bot an expert in android but according to what I have read, audio_policy.conf describe the hardware compatibility of the box. For now, it is set to

So adding 96000 in sampling_rates + PCM_24_BIT and crossing our finger might be a good start...

Can someone tell if I am in the wright direction? It seems simple to try but like I said, I am not an expert.

In all objectivity, even if I have multiple devices able to sample also over 96000, I have very few tracks sampled at 96000. Only those who I have ripped by me starting from the original source. All music from Internet, never comes over 48000 . . . (What is already sufficient )

However, is sufficient that make the basic installation with RKDeviceManage.exe attached to the file qs3.1-x7-en.rar doing the same steps you've done to date to install any ROM by RK tool ...

Remember that CWM NANDbackups - ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with TWRP NANDbackups!

Sorry ...the problem was the minix stock usb cable..i ve changed with my phone cable and everething is ok now..

XBMC 13.1 Gotham and QSv3.1 plugin video don't working....

I have a question to ask to developers. . .

Some of XBMC plug-in that allows me to see episodes streaming RaiTV.it, and that they were fully functional with QSv2 and its XBMC are not compatible with this version XBMC 13.1 Gotham custom Nitro and/or with QSv3.1.

I have tried to install XBMC previous version in QSv3.1, but the same plugin still do not work.

So I think I understand that the defect is not only due to XBMC 13.1 Gotham custom Nitro, but also/or of QSv3.1 (maybe only QSv3.1 ??)

Could you advise me or something maybe understand why it does not work and remedy?
