I just used the kernel that was in this firmware. If there is a newer one...I don't have it. Arctablet must have an inside contact we don't have. It makes me wonder if there is yet another firmware floating around.

And, no....I don't read the threads on Arctablet, or even try to pay attention to what he's doing.

I just have downloaded image from Pipo and extracted kernell with ROM_Dumper_Tool provided in RR 3.0
Result is here and look's like a different one to me.
I'll update with this kernel just to see what is different.
I read threads there only when I can not sleep

Ok, flashed kernel extracted from Pipo image.
It's the same, differences in checksums exist...in essence it's the same #406 kernel without the fireman hat
Looks like we have the correct one.
Ahh, and another bug corrected is with missing cursor...is back to us.

Yup, the same.

For battery there is an option to put it on the left top site. You can use the app battery hd for it.
