If you had no issues with others roms from this thread then this one shall work also.

As noted it doesn't wipe like other roms so if you have issues do so before updating.

I have a s82 with finless 1.8 but my mx3 is straight from factory 108k4 I wanna flash the 109 . tomorrow cant wait to test it out if bell tv app works ill be in heaven lol

Yeah you need to reboot but it's all done automatically after selecting ART. TBH I've had no crashing on apps I use and no effect on stability. After you launch an app the second time round will be faster.

Really thats great news ill be doing this rom asap can I use this rom on my mx3 ?

If it's 2gb version your good to go. If it's the 1gb don't think so?

If it is the mobile bell app from the play store, then yes. It opens and ask for user name and password. This is using my S89 running the update from yesterday.

Mine is spoofed as a nexus 10 already and the bell tv app crashed on every start. checked

ok i tried ART but after reboot it bootlooped on me. I force reboot again and same thing. i had to run a command on twrp>advanced>terminal console to fix it.
The only changes i've done is spoofing as a nexus 10 and flashed a cpu fix from several posts ago.

Handy you can use the terminal eh?
I run ART on my minix x7 - S5 samsung - M8B without problems
Also I'm using my own rom based on 109k4 so I ripped out the app's I don't want included (like bob does) so maybe one of them is causing the bootloop. I'd hazard a guess on the backup/update.apk and the ota.akp.

Tried a couple of times
Had to go back to 108k4
Also tried flashing 109 kernel boot.img only on 108k4. And got a soft brick too.

Hi every xbmc version 'official' i install shows no video just audio .. then i installed omans 4k versions tried 13.1 and 13.2 .. and i get bad video tearing ... any ideas oman ? Shall i try the normal oman 13.1 ? Witbout 4k ? I dont really need 4k ..

"Official XBMC wont work due to permissions! I will fix that in my ROM. In the ENY forum I made a patcher and it proved to fix it.

I will upload the stock ROM and make it wipe for everyone. Stay tuned. But I will not make a new post for it until we see an "official" 109 release from Oman. I will post the ZIP here.

Also can someone point me to a thread how to edit the Aml script. I remember reading somewhere you can't just edit and save as normal it breaks the signature

Yes you need to upzip it make edits and rezip and sign it. I use updatecreator to do this in windows but there are many tools to do this. I don't think all of them work though. The zip is signed using standard google test keys.

FYI you will need java installed in windows which can be a pain.

Updated 109k4 ZIP format ROM

OK here is the updated 109K4 flashable ZIP format ROM.

1) I removed the assertion check at the front of the script so this will install on any S802 device. It will not check what version you have installed already. So you know an assertion check usually checks the device model and the version currently installed. Again this is removed now.

2) I format data in the script so if you do not have the factory_update_param.aml on sdcard (which does the wiping if you use it right) it will still wipe the device.

No other changes

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS AND PUT THIS ZIP ON SDCARD!

Unzip this download and you will have the package in a folder called 109k4_stock_rom_prerelease.
In it is the files needed and instructions explaining several ways in which to flash this ROM.

ROM -> Tronsmart S89/S89H & Beelink S82/S82H/M8 - 109K4 Stock ROM Pre-release (401 megs)


Note: I will wait until Oman says this is "official" or releases an "official" 109K4 ROM before I make a Finless 2.0 ROM from it. So please don't ask until then.
