TWRP space issue?
In post 25 Finless said “I think it is something with the way Android is reporting space…” when talking about repartioning NAND etc.
Well I have a weird space issue on 109k4.
I have used TWRP (latest) to make a backup of my S82B that is working flawlessly & I get the TWRP error below stating that my DATA is 3,371,550,943,012Mb! I cannot restore / backup anything nowIs this a TWRP issue or a firmware issue? I have already bricked my MX2 running TWRP & am worried that I have now screwed up my brand new S82b!!
Is this connected? I have reported this to the TWRP dev here on Freaktab.

Primly it seems to be with xvids.
Amlogic team tested amcodec (and amffmpeg) which apparently causing stuttering and desync-ing of xvid-s and their answer is:
"The problem is probably caused by the system settings which are not properly set. In other word, if your receive the box with the firmware which has no XBMC related settings, you’d better send a request to the vendor to see if they can help."
I'm affraid it's not the right answer... What do you think?

I'm afraid it's not the right answer... What do you think?
In 1.8 there no stutter. and yet in 1.9 there is.
Setting haven't changed between the two so its a no brainier where the problem is.
It happens in xmbc and also plex which defaults to the on board system for playing local files.
Either they broke playback or bandwidth which would also possibly cause a out of sync issue.
Plex being a aim and play client with very minimal setting it can be ruled out as being setup wrong.
Update:
With further tersting its more then obvious that this is a completely related to the firmware .
Any app that depends on the direct play of the firmware shows the stuttering and dync issue clearly.
Simply going back to 1.8 removes the issue and playback is normal which would not happen if this was a settings issue.
This also includes mkv files and mp4 videosLast edited by Magnus33; 24 September 2014, 19:55.Mk802IV Neomode 1.9a original rom 720p
