        Looks like video/audio sync issues are streaming related rather then codec related.

          . they both play every thing I throw at it. The only video that struggles a little bit, is streaming live TV in mpeg2 TS format. But only the 720P channels drop frames, and they are not noticeable. I only know they drop frames because I use the diagnostic overlay to see them. The 1080i streams on the other hand have no dropped or skipped frames.

          Just my opinion.
          Damn he's so right.... No problems (stuttering) on xvids anymore with latest spmc fullhd and rest is workin like before.....

            I have AMlinux and THIS:

            has audio/video issues with HW decoding ON, and NO ISSUES with HW decoding OFF.

            So it's not fully streaming related!

            Please, could anyone try this also?

                  Bluetooth

                  Hey all and gratz for the amazing work done here. I have flashed Oman's 109k4 fw to my MX III 2g box and it's quite impressive. The only glitch observed so far is that there is no bluetooth in settings, making bluetooth unusable. Same applies for finless 2.0. I tried Stane's latest fw and bluetooth is back and working. (tried both clean and dirty flash). Is this a known issue or just a problem at my end? Any input-solution is appreciated.
                  Cheers

                    Afaik bluetooth and wifi don't work at the same time, so disable 1 of the functions to get the other to operate.

                      Shall check.

                      Xmbc out of sync and with the likes of say mxplayer it works fine.

                      I think the problem is that these files themselves.
                      The older the format used to make them the less likely players are going to support them.

                      A good example is the wd smp player which plays everything but has issues with older mpeg formats that are just no longer used.

                      I had problems with older loony tunes files myself which were made with older software.
                      I just batch converted the lot of them to a newer format since there small files to begin with.

                      It is clear that local codec support is outdated and a patched mess tough so its needs updating regardless.

                        Thanks for your answer but the problem persists. Tried disabling the wifi but there is still no bluetooth setting, therefore there is no way to control bluetooth.

                            Sorry apos I misunderstood you!
                            I can now see there is not option to use / control the Bluetooth from setting menu.
                            Secondly I'm now at home and can potentially see the issue

                            The build.prop from 109k4 has this line:
                            Code:
                            #used in packages/apps/Settings/.../Utils.java
                            hw.has.bluetooth=false
                            Clearly oman has disabled it from the setting menu, at this time I don't know why?
                            Using a build.prop editor you could try editing from:
                            Code:
                            hw.has.bluetooth=false
                            to
                            Code:
                            hw.has.bluetooth=true
                            Then reboot and check if the option is in the android settings menu.

                            Hope this helps

                                Hi again, edited the build.prop as proposed and rebooted but no luck
                                Is it possible it has to do with the flashing procedure? I have read in the MXIII thread that ppl are using this firmware successfully, so I guess it is not the box model that is incompatible.
                                Cheers
