      No reason other than companies don't want left over junk which can effect changes done in future ROMs.

      KK is trying to move to the internal SD as a "media" place. Unfortunately it is not correct yet. This is why so many APPs are having a problem with move to SD or where to store "extra data". This is a Google change that is not being implement consistently so we are stuck.

      I have seen while developing ROMs for S802 that if some junk is remaining from previous ROMs it HAS caused issues. This is why I format this for my ROMs.

        just curious as it's been a couple of weeks since 108k4 release - any heads up on what might be new and a release date for 109k4 please?

          Can someone tell me which USB cable is capable to connect to OTG port ? Is it normal micro USB or some other cable ?

              Stuttering Problem with VC1-Codec in uncompressed BluRay stream

              Hello,

              I am happy with the S82B (108k4), but I have a stuttering problem with uncompressed BluRay streams with VC1-Codec

              I tested playing with XBMC,4Kplayer,MXplayerpro ...always stuttering

              When I tried uncompressed BluRay streams with AVC-Codec everthing is fine.

              Does anybody has the same problems (stuttering ) while playing uncompressed VC-1 BluRay streams ?

              or any ideas ?

                  We are waiting the the new sdk from AML,then we'll release 109k4..maybe this month.

                    Sorry I cannot share an uncompressed Bluray stream (about 25-35 GB huge) you' ll find it in Bluray-Discs for example these BluRays are with the VC1-Codec:
                    Matrix or Fight club

                          Honestly,I didnt find very obvious stutter...The one thing I am suspecting is the Fps,which is
                          Original frame rate : 29.970 fps
                          If you watch the video on HDMI 24Hz output..but it's also not obvious..

                          Could anyone else confirm it?

                            Dear Oman,

                            maybe the test file for the VC1-codec in my last post, was not the best example because of too much action and fast cuts in the clip and the 29,970 fps.

                            So I cut out a scene from an original BluRay stream with VC1-Codec (23.976 fps) without action scenes, which is not playing smooth like all original VC1-Codec BluRay streams on the box.

                            Hope you can confirm it… or better have a solution.

                            If this clip is not stuttering on your box, the problem is on my side.
