Does this mean, that all official XBMC releases won't work with 108k4 and 720p only TVs?
What's about the 720p patch/fix from Finless?
Is this also available for 108k4?
-----------
How about this stane version of XBMC 13.1? Any improvements over oman's?

You should go to Settings/Audio/Enable Passthrough/DTS HD or TrueHD capable receiver. It's only accessible in "Expert" level settings.
Thanks!

Edit: So the DTS HD passthrough is still missing.
Also, I currently don't have the option to "Enable Dolby Digital transcoding" on my device. Useful for transcoding AAC 5.1 audio tracks to DD 5.1. Otherwise they're downmixed to stereo.
Thank you tampametal. You just saved me from uninstalling/re-installing/re-building XBMC!

Channel switching not working on pvr-vnsi addon with had channels
This is my first post here! Many thanks for your ROM! But this thread is about feedback. I have some issues:
I have problems in switching channels in pvr-vnsi addon, when the channel to be selected is a 720p or 1080i channel. In SD TV it is working very well. VDR is running under Ubuntu on a server and has the plugin vnsiserver Versicon 5 installed.
If I start-up the addon and select an Hd channel, it is immiately showing the channel, but when switching to another one via the up and down key it is starting buffering for 100%, which takes a long time and when at 100% I can here the sound, but no vidoe. Just a black screen. Switching back to teh original channel is working.
Closing live -TV and going back and selecting the desired channel is working switch is again not working.
All works like a cham, when I connect via my xbmc on rasberry pi or on ubuntu client to the server with Gotham 13.1.
So it seems to be an issue with the current implementation.
Beside that issue the rom works very well for me.
The only other thing I can not do is to play 3D (mvc) DB mkv rips. But I do not know if this is possible with any android stick so far, even though it is advertised.

Maybe it is a caching / buffering problem...
Do you know the 'advancedsettings.xml' ?
Have a look at http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title...he_video_cache
You have to place it at
Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata
Sample
Code:<advancedsettings> <network> <buffermode>1</buffermode> <readbufferfactor>3</readbufferfactor> <cachemembuffersize>157286400</cachemembuffersize> <curlclienttimeout>45</curlclienttimeout> </network> </advancedsettings>

"Enable Dolby Digital transcoding" appears only when you select 2 channels... and HDMI passthrough is on.
How many channels do you have selected?

I run optical to receiver which is latest DTS and all. Do I still select 2.0, 5.1, 7.1 or what?
Thanks
