Highly unlikely since that app hasn't been updated in over a year.
The firmware not the issue its the app itself.

Actually it is a AML Bluetooth driver/stack issue. AML knows about it but has not done anything about it yet.

110k4 - issues

so I downloaded this 110k4 firmware update for the 1GB version AP6181 from here http://androidpc.es/blog/2014/11/18/...2-mxiii-110k4/

so far I have experienced Netflix jerkiness playback although internet connection is good, and it has buffered. XBMC streaming is ok, but if you turn on live tv simple client, while loading channels can freeze preview window for the channels is offside also.

anyone experience these issues?

now I want to downgrade back to 108k4 AP6181 1GB, but I can't find the file for that, all are for rtl8188 wifi module.

What is your experience with 109k4 and 110k4 ???

I wonder if the Bluetooth stack issue is fixed in the 110K4 firmware for the MXIII 2GB? Can anyone with that hardware confirm please?

Anyone using an optical cable for audio ? When I was on 108k4 it worked fine but with 109k4 it doesn't work. I tried auto detect and manual to pcm. Using an MXIII 2G

On 109k4 (1G/8G MXIII), and Tosslink Optical Out is working fine with my Creative DDTS-100 Decoder. When set to use SPDIF-Out! I think you also need to turn the Auto Detect off, or else it defaults to PCM LPCM (HDMI).

Dolby Digital 5.1 *confirmed*... I still have to find a DTS Source to test though. But, I can't imagine why it shouldn't work. Given that we're talking about RAW Bit Data here.
In the case that I'm using a DD5.1 & DTS Decoder to do that lifting. So your Setup may vary.

Is there any chance in Hell that we 1G/8G MXIII Owners might get to see some kind USB BlueTooth Dongle Driver support? Seeing as this version, of the Device has probably jipped a good many of us out of it... I'm not blaming anyone but, the Fleabay Seller(s) that had... Let us say mirrored the Specs for the 2G/8G Version, and left it at that... Though to be fair it was tagged as only being a 1G/8G Device.... Had I only known before hand....

One other thing... A bit of a Bug rally... Though I finally was able to solve One little mystery tonight. As in what the irserver.apk does.
Apparently its the backend service to the Smart iRemote (Google Playstore), Frontend.
Problem is, like many have already posted in the Review Section (Myself included!), It doesn't seem to work very well. When it comes to synching (or pairing), it up with said Device. If I manually input my IP Address into it... It works. As soon as I back out of the Program.. Or I restart it I have to re-enter that same IP Address into it again!

Any chance that you can:
a) Fix the Pairing problem?
b) Fix it so that we don't have to keep re-pairing this Virtual Remote to Said Device every time we'd wish to use it... (i.e. Keyboard Typing!!)

How to upgrade FW By TF card:
1.Unzip the zip/rar file,and copy 3 files(105k4.zip,recovery.img,factory_update_param. aml) to TF card Root directory;
2.Plug in the TF card and Power line,then pressing the button in the AV hole,then press power button,then release button in the AV hole.
3.OK,it will be into update process.

Thanks for the info ! I have it set to SPDIF-Out but I found a speaker setting on the receiver was off for some reason so now i get sound. I tried some of the 5.1 surround sound tests but when the test goes to the rear surround the sound comes out of the front channel instead of the rear Maybe thats not a good test. Have to find a movie that has good sound effects for the rear.
