    QUESTION to all of us:

Which Remote Apps did you find working for our devices?
Please name App, Device used on and where to find. Maybe Post Link to uploaded.to or similar.

      You can try following ones:

      1. The classic one : SmartiRemote

      2. Another alternative is Google TV remote (not available in German App Store)

      3. Mirroring of the box via RemoDroid (free)

      4. Alternative of mirroring with costs: DroidMote (Server/Client)

I'm personally prefer the fly mouse method.

Google TV Remote app from Play Store, running on an HTC Vivid Android 4.0 phone and used with an MXIII and an S82B works well and there is information here if you are interested, it is a fairly popular choice. I don't like using a smart phone as a controller so I mostly use a Logitech K700 keyboard to control mine.

That is why I didn´t find the Google Remote...

            MXIII Plus

I have noticed this firmware for the plus,

            MXIII Plus_201k4_xbmcaddons_sdcard 184394 20150126

I did not see an issue with installing it on any of the Beelink devices I have (with the exception of WIFI, since the boxes I have are using a different chipset or may be faulty.)

--- not sure of the changelog though...

MXIII Plus uses AP6335 with AC. But as S812 is pin compatible with S802 , MAYBE all the other things should work.

True word, man! I did play around with some apps. Best was the one it was more or less delivered with.
Google TV remote is not fully functional Mirroring would have too much impact on network performance in my association.
So did try out a "Fly-Air-Mouse" myself and have to say it is an instant huge step forward in controlling my device. Not perfect though, but that much more comfort that it easily justifies the costs.
                      I took a shot at this remote/mouse: http://www.amazon.de/Multifunktions-...s=CSL-Computer
This here seems to be the same but a little cheaper: http://www.****.de/itm/Rii-i25-2-4G-...item2c90e55de9
But see its coming from china....will take some days to HAVE it

Even if I would stop using it on my AndroidBox I could use it with Windows, Linux or even Playstation3!
There is even a remote function included, but since there are only very few keys available I would strongly second that
The more you do with your AndroidBox the more you benefit from the difference to the controller/remote shipped with the device.

I would agree this is something HDMI related. It´s most probably the Android Box.
Common problem with chinese products (also with many tablets same problem is known).
But before you do the soldering you might check it´s not TV (AVR) or cable related.

                          Netflix version

I recently upgraded the firmware on my MXIII from 107k. Everything works fine, but it seems to me that the previous version of Netflix (which wouldn't update) worked better with a standard remote. Can anyone confirm which version that was?

                          Thanks

I'm now on the latest system software 112k4. I can't get 1080p 60hz/50hz video output anymore. When set to the aforementioned resolutions, the screen starts flickering so badly that it's almost impossible to see what's on the screen! Rendering the device pretty much useless that way.

I also tried 1080p24 and 720p 60hz which both seem to be working just fine in the system menu. But in case of 1080p24 (my preferred video output), xbmc reverts back to 720p, showing just a blank blue screen. I havent tried FrequencySwitcher xbmc add-on just yet, but if I can't set the resolution to 1080p, that wouldn't be much helpful anyway.

Again, 720p60hz works fine. The problem seems to occur with 1080p resolutions only.

I've been reading other users' comments on the latest build but can't remember anyone mentioning this. Has anyone else faced similar issues with 1080p video output?
                              A quick update:

1080i 50/60hz seem to work fine too, though the device occasionally loses signal (very briefly) on these resolutions.

Oman would you look into this? Any chance this could be fixed in the upcoming update?

Development is probably not dead but we are certainly not at the top of the heap anymore with some newer toys out.

Still can't really complain as the firmware basically quite solid now and the device is more then powerful enough for everything.

The hdmi flaw is certainly anoying but at least its a fixablke one for us.

I suspect firmwares shall still come out but not as often.
