Q: To Mr Oman

Is there any way to prevent my M82 (1G/8G - AP-6181 MXIII), from creating a new "Device" under my Google Music Account every time I need to update it? Is the S82 as buggy when it comes to this? Is there a "Box" that can keep its "Identity" after such "Updates"? I really need to be able to continue to use my GMusic Account. But, these Updates are like a time-bomb just waiting to go off again. Since Google have now limited the ability to deactivate only Four Devices per Year. And I've already got rid of Two of 'em.

Same here. Any FW after 108 causes random hdmi black screen appearing. With FW 108 everything is ok. Also in this case a different problem? We should update anyway?
They are still at 108k, I read a lot of problems with this S89 and problems with each firmware version ... I do not believe in these devices will become reliable
And do not think I buy another Tronsmart or 'Beelink ....

How to upgrade FW By TF card:
1.Unzip the zip/rar file,and copy 3 files(105k4.zip,recovery.img,factory_update_param. aml) to TF card Root directory;
2.Plug in the TF card and Power line,then pressing the button in the AV hole,then press power button,then release button in the AV hole.
3.OK,it will be into update process.

I'm too considering a return to 109k4, for some of the following reasons.
1) Ethernet (Port), Speeds have seemed to have taken a turn for the worse ever since 111k4. I've seen some Posts already about this. Though I kinda dismissed it at the time. I'm now on the side of believing it!

2) The Antutu Video Test, Although I had to sideload this Benchmark on 109k4 (M82 1G/8G AP6181 MXIII Box),. I was fairly confident that I could have at least gotten though the WMV2, and Real Media (Cooker?!), Parts with out the complete drop in Video, as has been, and continues to be the case since 110k4 ~ 112k4. Which is on the whole quite odd given that this "Update" was supposed to actually improve Video!

Just a thought to Mr Oman.... Is it really a good idea to keep up with these All In One Packages?
I mean on the Face of it... I can understand why this would be a preferred method.
But, not everyone with a MXIII cough M82, has the more preferred S82. And it starting to seem to me that this AIO Setup is showing signs of strain.
The Clock Bug for One... I can't say if its just an S82 thing...
But, on my M82 I've never seen it. EVER! And, yes I'm currently on 112k4 ATM!
With all the "optimization" going on for the S82 (e.g. 2G/8G+Bluetooth units), which actually still suffer the broken Bluetooth Bug! (Not really wanting to get me to upgrade my M82 (1G/8G BTW),.

I'm not feeling much support coming for the M82, and a lot of misplaced hand-me-downs from the S82, side of things.
I do understand that these ARE fundamentally the SAME Devices.
But, when it comes to tweaking the Memory Buffers, for Live Internet Streams, Have those same "Tweaks" been modified for the 1G Versions, since they obviously only have 1G of RAM, its not possible to use 2G, as was suggested in such posts. 'Cause the 1G (M82), seems to preform rather badly at live streaming....
Perhaps its down to different priorities? I don't know. But, I think having separate M82 / S82 Branches was a better idea... User Side...


P.s. BTW you can find the 109k4 AP-6181 Firmware here.... Those with the RTL8188 will have to look elsewhere! http://www.file-upload.net/download-...dcard.rar.html

One other Note.... YOU WILL HAVE TO ALSO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE USB BURNER TOOL! To downgrade your Device. As otherwise you'll receive an error in the 3E Recovery stating that you can not install an older Firmware i.e. 109k4 over a newer One e.g. 112k4.
So keep that in mind!

P.p.s. I forgot that the Link is as you wished it a SD Zip File. Problem is to downgrade you'll need a *.img File So to actually downgrade, you'll probably need to stock Beelink Firmware 108k4 first. Which you can still find over on their Website. Yeah its the RTL8188 Version. So WiFi will NOT WORK. But, its still useful as a transition to the 109k4 AP6181 that does.

The only ballache I have about it is my Google Music Account. Otherwise I'd be doing this myself.

My Ethernet connection has been vastly improved by fixing my ip via static ip in Ethernet settings and reserving the ip in my dchp router.
This should make no difference but it does.
