I've tried to install the drivers on Windows 7, using the drivers provided.
But without full success.
Whenever I connect the Cube Talk 9X, W looks for drivers and ends up telling me that the device is disconnected.

I'm not sure what to do with the drivers provided with the rom.

Can someone describe precisely what I should do to install the drivers?

Power off tab... After tab is fully off, go to device manager on windows 7 and leave it opened. Now, connect the tab to the PC using the USB cable. You will see an unknown device or "mtk preloader" pop up on device manager... You will have to click on it (fast, before it disappears) with the right mouse button and install the drivers mannually...

After driver installation, reboot PC and tab should be recognized by spflashtool...

I've tried it with my Note 2 charger (2A) when tablet was drained down to 0% and it needs over ONE hour that CUBE recognize that there is a charger plugged in...

With my 4A charger it takes just 5 minutes to activate the CUBE again...

Now I'm asking again:

Is there a way to play a sound if I plug in my micro-USB like my Note 2 does?

Yes... You can enable this feature using gravitybox module.

You don't have to desolder Battery...

The display shows the loading pic just for a few seconds then display shut down for faster charging.
If the Battery is to low, the display shows nothing. Normally

But it charges anyway...

Slow, but it does with the common 2A charger...

Better would be a bigger charger...
If battery drains down to 0 you need a lot of power to reanimate the battery.
I figured out with my Galaxy Note (2A) Charger from 0% of power...
It needs more than a hour, till the tablet recognize that's there is a charger connected

With my 4A (some called it SUPER-)Charger it needs up to 5 minutes till I get a reaction from my cube when power drains down to 0%

My CUBE works fine with that 4A Charger without any faults since 2 month or so...

Anyway...

My Question is:
Is there a way to play a sound if I connect my power to Tablet like my Note2 does?

I would like 2 have a sound like "doodub" if I plug the power in...

Every sound would be fine!

When I'm using the wrong cable (it could be, especially from my Bluetooth Speakers) the Tablet won't charge...

But I plug in and go to bed...
Next morning Tablet is off @ 0% cause I didn't realize that's those cable won't charge...

Any sugesstions, please?

Desoldering battery should be the last resource... If charging regularly doesn't work even with bigger charger...

Pretty fine. But if your CUBE doesn't start charging without soldering I think your charging electronic inside of CUBE is defective... Or your battery has a failure...
Maybe your charger does not deliver the needed power to switch in the Insider cube electronics if battery is completely down....

Some cell phones too need a lot oft time to start regular charging if they batteries are down to zero...

All I said is not for shure, but I'm wondering that your CUBE doesn't Start charging at all...

I ignored the "battery empty, connect to charger" message two times.
The first was for testing. I charged it with my 4A charger and it comes back a few minutes later...
The second was @ home of a friend.
I used it till it shuts down with 0 battery...
My buddy only has a 1.7A charger, but the battery starts charging with that a few minutes, too...
I left his charger just one hour or something like that's at my CUBE...
At home I finished charging to 100% without turning CUBE on.

So I think something's went wrong with your CUBE...

Please can you post here what time you need to charge and how long your battery works without charging?
I'm very interested at that's.

with 2.1A charger, it charges usually from 1 to 100% in 7-8 hours. it lasts for 3-4 days normally with my regular use, web browsing 2-3 hrs a day, but if screen brightness is at max and i play heavy games, i can get battery fully drained in 6 hours.

Everybody's CUBE battery will drain down in rd about 6 hrs

8 CPU-Cores and 4 Graphic-Cores needs a lot of power at full working ;-)

The only difference is, I can charge my CUBE in off status charging in rd about 3 hours and while working and playing in rd about 5-6 hrs.

Did you try again charging from 0 till you've soldered your battery?
Does it work now without such great efforts?
Is your CUBE working normally now?

This is the interesting thing for me :-D

Lol, i had an Onda v975M, this would drain the Onda battery in max 2 hours.

Everybody's CUBE battery will drain down in rd about 6 hrs

You can delete china app by original recovery, no need root , noneed PC ,no need driver.

download file "delete_china_app.rar",

extract, and place the update.zip at sdcard(internalSD),then follow this.

there's something wrong with the original cube charging cable. it wont start charging when battery at 0%.(i have used that cable for 3 months with no problems). then, a 2m long 28awg cable charges battery! it should be worse but it charges from 0%. I think i order a better cable somewhere....
