Cheerz
this limitation is due to Google policy (they doesn't support anymore Adobe Flash, like Apple), not our Cube tablet (even Chrome doesn't support it now).
There are several alternative browsers on the store (type "flash browser" in the store).
I tried Boat (it doesn't work for flash), Dolphin (it works, but is slow and the tablet heats) and FlashWork (works, I don't know yet if it is a good replacement browser). A lot f others are available... no time yet to test. Please, post feedback if you have time to experience

Not working with Cube Talk MID
Originally posted by chris-mm View PostHave tried this rooting tool on a brand new white 16GB device (with stock rom 1.8 / stock recovery) and it´s working perfect for me!!!
This is a real good way to root, if you want to stay with stock rom and stock recovery.
The update script installs SuperSu 2.01 and busybox also. Very nice!
Many many thanks for it
Chris
Update!!!!
Strange, some apps are working (ES File Explorer has working root access for example)
But other apps like MobileUncleTools or Titanium Backup get no access to the sdcard.
Seems that SuperSu is causing the trouble.
So at the moment, it seems to be the best idea to use the 900Supersport rom to get a fully rooted Talk 9x.

Not working with Cube Talk MID

I've posted a reworked frimware based on cubes 1.8 firmware of 6 Aug 2014 at

ROM Download
So what do you get?- UK English by default
- Root
- Removal of Chinese apps
- init.d support with busybox integration
- option of CWM recovery built with rua1's MTK Droid Root Tool, also included is Lepi's TWRP recoveries
- auto install feature:- if you create an autoinstall folder on your sdcard containing any default apks they will install on first boot. I tend to be sparing in this just loading my preferred file browser, terminal emulator and titanium backup.
I've included instructions within the download for flashing both the full ROM (required if you are changing from Cube's earlier firmware) or flashing just boot and system (ANDROID).
Hope this is of some use.
Brian
PS Lepi pointed out to me that its easy to boot into recovery as follows. First power off the U65GT, it vibrates when shut down completes. Press and hold power for about a second then press and hold vol+ until a menu displays (its small in white). Scroll through the menu options with vol+ and select with vol-
CWM zip fix for read only external sd card. Download and put onto the sdcard (internal or external), reboot to recovery and update.

Flash player works also very good, after installation go here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html to step 5 and install provided .apk (adbfs10_V11.1.125.81_Android_pf145_(zh-cn)_release_(Build14032416).apk).
Nice and fast browser for me .
Dolphin at least for now is a no go, loads pages very slow and tablet is hot during browsing time.
Cheers, Edy.

none of the flash browsers are good(firefox, dolphin) firefox crashes too often and dolphin doesn't go to all websites. Boat is pretty stable but flash is not working.samsung note 3 n9005 snapdragon [email protected] GHz|cube u65gt talk9x

I have to wonder if it is the chipset or something the builder is doing? I know that my RK3188 powered Pipo works pretty good in this area, even better now with new Dolphin Beta.
Wonder if the RK3288 will do as well? Maybe if enough complain, Mediatech and/or makers like Cube will take note and do something.
