Brightness patch will reduce only minimum brightness?Maximum brightness will not be affected?

    Comment

      @edius

max brightness is not affected. But you can dim down to real 4%.
Without that patch the min brightness stucks at around 30%.

Thats a common problem with all tablets i've owned so far.
Don't know why firmware makers in China are so less sensible for that.

Max Volume is also restricted to a lower value than the hardware can provide.
You can simply change this by using “MTK Engineering Mode” app.
Go in EngineeringMode, then in audio section twice on the right. For each audio profile, change the “Max. Vol. 0~160” to 160, when it is available.

          firmware version

          Dear all

I have questions, what the improvement for lastest firmware V1.8? Now I used V1.3 for my Talk 9x.

I can find it on Cube official web ( www.51cube.com) in chinnese language...but every times I changed the web to English language, it disappear from the firmware download list.

Why it's happening? That is mean, the V1.8 is not suggested for my region (Indonesia)?

          Thx

first sorry for my bad english.

            i bought a Cube Talk 9x white 16GB with Verison: 1.8 and Andoid 4.4.2.

Now i have download the Software.

            My Problem is:

When i shut down the Cube and connect it to my PC it disappears again and again ( looks like a loop or so ). The same as i disconnect the Cube every time . For a few second i can see the Battery Symbol in the Screen with a red X ( The Cube Battery is 90% ). Now i have open my Device Manager and install the driver after a long Journey. But the Problem still exist when i connect the Cube.

I can See in the Device manger that my device is connected for 1-2 sec and then it disappears. After a few Second the same ( loop)
I have take a other micro USB cable and on my Work again 5 deiffrent Cables but the Same problem.

I take my PC at Home, a laptop, and a Lenovo Tiny PC with nothing on it (Win 8.1 fresh Installation)with USB3.0 and power on the USB port but with all Cables the same Loop effect.

Have someone a Idea how i can install the ROM?

My last IDEA is to by a USB 3.0 HUB with a External Power Supply

(When i power on the Cube everything is fine. I can use the internal and Micsro SD Card with write access.)
            Thanks for all

            Lucky

            I'm facing same problem like luckystar14379and zvoddy23.
When tablet is connected to comp.(Win 8.1 x64 bit) or to notebook (Win 7 x32 bit) just connects/reconnects for 3-4 times, then starts to charge ..not visible in device manager.
With MtkDroid Tools is impossible to do anything, just "The device isn't revealed" message.
After I loaded scatter file in SPFlash Tool, pushed Download button. after that connected tablet to USB 2.0 port and surprise .. Whole ROM was flashed without connect/disconnect problem.
I managed to flash v.1.8 _2014.08.19 without problems (SPFlash Tool was set in Download Only mode)..IMEI is Ok
After that ...same problem with connect/disconnect, tablet not detected in Device Manager and cannot backup nothing with MTKDroid.
When is powered On (in USB storage mode) is just fine no disconnects...so is not a USB connector/cable malfunction.
Tried with 4 diferent USB cables, USB 2.0/3.0 port..even restored my Windows installation on notebook with Acronis to a fresh install state and loaded manually drivers from V.1.6 version..no result.
My Cube has comed with firmware version v1.8(4 July2014) preinstalled (32 GB black version S/N U65GT32GB143087...)
Could be another hardware version since I'm not alone here with this kind of problem?

I haven't root my device and didn't install the ROM yet. Will it run faster after root and with the ROM?
