I've tried to use your update through modrecovery, using the zip file renamed as 'update.zip' on the external card.
But I just got an error message.
(My tablet is not rooted.)

To get Root need to install my TWRP through Flashtool. When exiting TWRP will be invited to receive an Root must agree and follow the instructions. Then you can flash my mod.

Hey Guys, anybody knows why location is not working? I cannot get a fix on google maps or any other apps. I have enabled location mode on high accuracy / battery saving but no luck. (Connected to wifi only)

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually i "factory reset" and it came back. I have to see if an incompatible app causes this

I already tested miracast and it's working properly! (impossible function for pipo m6pro).

To see the installed version i need to take into account the date of 4th of July, because 1.8 is not written anywhere in the settings, isn't it?

Check settings, about tablet, build number.

Alternatively if you have big square icons you are on 1.8.

Just reflashed my 1.8 and all working for me now.😀

the 6 gig apps space cwm file... why its just 6 gigs? It should be at least 16... and is this rom and files compatible with black 32 gb version? i'm still waiting my tab to arrive... And, have you thought about a custom kernel? a 2.2 GHz overclock should be enough... 1.7 is not enough, my note 3 phone has 2.8 GHz and it's good.

I can't beleive this is normal O-o

Mine sounds similar under 1.8 firmware. It might be a software issue. Hope later releases can fix it.

2.2Ghz is almost impossible for a cortex A7 @ 28nm, even more for an octacore CPU (too much heat).
1.8 or 1.9 could be reachable.

In my opinion will be more interesting to set lower minimum frequency/voltages without affecting performance to increase even more the fantastic battery duration!

(I don't have easy access to a Windows computer, and when I tried on Windows 7, I could not install the drivers properly.)

1. I don`t know, i don`t use Linux.
2. Patch from Riley MTK_root_update.zip I don`t try.
3. Backup your IMEI Number BEFORE Flashing a Custom ROM or modrecovery. This is a prerequisite.

Need help

Guys i need your help. Last night accidently i deleted original firmware from my cube talk9X tablet. Lucky me i have a backup of IMEI in another folder but lost everything else.
Can someone upload copy of nvram.bin from own firmware backup. Thank you

noob questions..

• auto install feature:- if you create an autoinstall folder on your sdcard containing any default apks they will install on first boot. I tend to be sparing in this just loading my preferred file browser, terminal emulator and titanium backup.

How does this work? can someone please provide some more details?
