I think snakekiller is getting good enough now that I am going to let him take over this ROM development. I planted the seed and made beta 1. Snakekiller is learning and doing well.

It's too hard for me to develop further without this tablet and using a stupid mouse on my 10G2 and even then stuff not working!

Snakekiller, I will discuss offline with you.

most excellent - a new Sensei emerges - so what time scale are we looking at for the first non beta rom ?

Patience is a virtue but not when tablet updates are on the boil.

i want cook it in the final rom
its a mix from jelly bean and ios animations

I tried it and it works fine. The very first animation it did after boot was a little shaky, but after that it worked well. Best thing, no more touch screen calibration.

i want a rom that's fast but also shiny.
i wan't always something special .
sow what i wan't in the future is init.d support ,transparent taskbar too.
but thats for the future first a stable final rom that people likes ok.

this was for the alpha version bob
but i maked a new one for aosp version.
sory for poor quality.
look at the animations in tapatalk superuser notification etc.
when you hold your finger on the screen then the notification com from bottom to top and disappear again from top to bottom

We all have to start somewhere snakekiller! I started last November! I had not used Linux EVER! I had used Unix way back in early 1980's. Everything has changed since then. So I had to learn a LOT FAST! It took me about 30 days to root my first ROM.

I think everyone learns in this way as there is no "real" documentation or anything. It's LEARN by trying!

Ok folks what has changed for the final rom.

The build.prop.
Removed stock email(there are better emails apps ,like enchanched email).
Removed button savior we don't need that for ics.
Changed framework-res.apk.
Fixed camera now you can recording.
My own bootscreen thx to damo i love it.

What next too do
the boot.img must changed with my own bootscreen.
Add keyboard dictionarys

Hi!

Good news!!!

The only thing I've changed is the wifi tweaks in build.prop that Bob posted earlier in the thread - working fine now. I think part of the problem is wherever Arnova have decided to put the ariel.
No problem though, I can change the build.prop myself again if needed.

Kick ass rom - good to see you're continuing with the good work!

I removed them too the deepsleep etc.

Have you downloaded my animation tweak.
Than you have a idea how it is in the final release
