I've got some issues with wi-fi.
Reception itself is good, as is range.
The issue seems to be wi-fi disconnects when the screen sleeps and does not automatically re-connect itself. The router then shows in wi-fi status as avaliable but when I click the wi-fi icon to connect it says 'Not in range'

I then added the 'Power Control' widget to the home screen, turned wi-fi off from there, turned back on and I reconnected OK.
Weird....

Anyone else had similar issues? I'll keep an eye on it....

nope wifi here is ok. when its sleep when screen is off its enabled itself again when i unlock the screen

found something difference with this rom and beta2 4.0.3
when you tick usb debug in settings .
connect with your pc.
then when you click on the usb icon in the taskbar.
you can switch how your tablet is connected with the pc.
Wright ?
now theres are 3 options now insteed off 2.
now take the last option.
when you now reconnect your tab and click again on the usb icon in the taskbar .
click now on usb connection.
now you have a screen like gingerbread for connecting the tab with pc.
conclusion is now usb debug is enabled and now on your pc you can view your internal and external sd at the same time like on the 10 g2

I've had the same problem as earlier with the wi-fi...any ideas on why?
I can't find any settings relating to this - only thing I can think of is to set the developer option to not sleep when charging but that won't help when on battery.

Snakekillers build.prop increased wifi scan interval from 15 seconds to 150 seconds. Try changing this back to 15 seconds and see. Realize 150 seconds is over 2 minutes so maybe you are not waiting long enough after coming out of sleep for it to scan and find the wifi connection.

wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=150

Additionally he has added the DEEP SLEEP which is almost like turning off the tablet. So this too maybe effedcting the rate at which it finds the wifi on wake up.

Remove these 2 lines:
ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=0
pm.sleep_mode=1

Try all this and I bet it solves it for you. I personally do not use deep sleep as again it's way more than just sleep. With deep sleep you do not get notifications of Email, etc.

what you use wep or wpa2
ill use wpa2 and channel 11
if you use wpa2 try another channel

ill use my tweaked buildprop from beta 2 and now problems with wifi ,when i unlock the screen the wiffi is emmidletly back to work

So with the tweaked build.prop no wifi issues - don't think I have that one, can you give me a link to d/l it and I'll give it a try.
I've also downloaded a wifi app "Wifi keep alive", I'll see if that works.

I added his build.prop to this ROM. Snakekiller, did you change it since I added it?

ill think randy had the same problem he changing something from his router i think .

no sorry it was bay 1902
he has verry low wiffi speed.
he replaced the router and the problem was solved

I don't think it's a router problem as was fine with all the other builds and my 10G2.
Randy used Wifi fixer, jsut downloaded that so will try that and remove the other one.
