I did have that same problem Andy had out of sleep mode once. I really have not had a chance to test much since flashing, though because of work. So far, while awake I haven't had any dropped connections. I'm on channel 11 using wpa2. I set my router to only use G since I don't have any N devices.

The thing I notice is that I show a stronger wifi signal (more bars) in the fringe areas of coverage, but if I have, say 2 bars, Web pages quit updating and time out. So I think I'm having a range problem.

Up to now I haven't turned on wifi Fixer, but I'm running the logging feature for a while to catch any errors it logged.

More frustrations - the return of the missing apps after a reboot.
It's a couple of games I have, 'Zombie Lane' and 'Robinson' - I had the same issue with Bob's first ROM release, this was fixed with later ones.

Doesn't matter if I install from scratch from the market or restore using TI - first time run is fine, reboot tablet and get 'App not installed'

It's not happening with regular apps - TB and ES File Explorer for example - so it's obviously something specific to these two apps.
I'm going to try with a fresh SD card

Seems like there's only me having these issues - perhaps I'm cursed!

Seems by default certain apps install to the SD card. When I move them back to the tablet via settings all is well!
Now to find if you can change the default behaviour so apps always install to tablet.

Hi all I have tried the new beta and it seems to be working fine so far ;-) well done lads I have just one question for the min does anyone know what apps I can safely remove as there is stuff built in that I won't use like the file browser its not working for me and I prefer to use ES file manager anyway so am wondering if safe to remove stock file manager?

yes i removed stock web browser , stock email , gmail , superuser too but replaced it with supersu, but before deleting superuser you must first copy supersu too system/app.
then update supersu first.
then after restarting the tablet you can delete now superuser .

Thank you snake killer ill remove stock email but I'm quite liking the stock browser and I use Gmail all the time so think I'll keep them

OK folks, with Snakekillers help we have fixed the camera issues

So what else do we need to work on?
Whats wrong with the stock file browser?

a shity browser il use dolphin
but il prefer supersu insteed of superuser.
have you permissions too for that for cooking in the rom.
i sended a mail to them 2 days ago but now reaction sow far

Thier post on XDA says you can cook Chain3D SuperSU and APK in a ROM. So we are OK.

However I played with that a lot. I find it slow and it also from time to time remounts /system as READ ONLY. Maybe they fixed those bugs since I tested but I decided not to use it on my other ROMs because of those bugs.

Bob I can't find fault with the stock browser so if you do remove it can you find a way to have it as a app injector app please as I use it with my phone also thank you

OK so I need you all to do a test.

On gingerbread if you remove the stock browser and tried to use another browser instead, then google voice search would crash!!!!!

So please do this test. Remove the stock browser completely. Yes you can have another browser installed.
Now try to use the Google Voice search from the desktop!

I know it will work in a browser so thats not what we want to test. We want to do it from the launcher using the microphone icon on the desktop. That will record voice and then TRY to launch a browser. I bet it will fail without the stock browser installed but lets see.

or one like user apps so that you can remove again if you want
