I think you can connect via ssh then you have terminal access. Or do you need it console like?

Awesome job with this. It's super-fast and pretty solid. Thank you.

I am having a bit of issue with sound. Sound from HDMI isn't working. Any suggestions?

          Thanks

From stane's website comments and freaktab comments, I haven't heard of any sound issues. Maybe play around with xbmc audio settings a little bit. I don't know what your setup is but try enabling/disabling passthrough, and depending on your internet bandwidth, adjust your sampling quality. Other than that, all I can think of is make sure your hdmi or analog audio connections are plugged in on your tv and box. Hope that helps...

He Stane, little question, tried your amlinux but get random freezes, i do like the linux build coz it can sync the refreshrate to the display when switching from xbmc gui to whatever refreshrate the movie is using. Will this ever be possible on Android ? or is there a hardware limitation that causes it doesnt work on the android builds ?
Hope future version of your AMLinux will work better for me

                  Boot into recovery

                  Hey stan,

I'm willing to try your amlogic linux but I have an MEasy B4A without a reset button. Is there any possibilty to update your rom or go to another rom without those button? Maybe boot into recovery and update there with a ssh command?

I don't want to be stuck on your rom forever

Same issues here ... From what i have seen and understood Stans Linux is not stable with the latest batch of boxes .. He developed his linux build on an earlier board with different hardware and that is most likely the reason for it !!

I am also waiting for Stan to develop a linux build based on the updated hardware instead of the old ones ...

@ Madwedgie : If am not mistaken your box is form the 104k4 batch AKA previous 105k4 different batch , so that is why you find it stable the same time the rest of us with the newer boards find it extremely unstable !!!

Yeah your right. its insane how the newer boards have got worse! you would have expected them to get better. Feel sorry for many users who have suffered from this.

I can now confirm 100% that Stanes AMLinux is perfectly stable ONLY on older Boxes with older PCB's !!!

I flashed AM LINUX on a 104k4 BOX and is running like a breeze whereas on my newer box its randomly freezing and rebooting !!!

I have seen FPS's of up to 125 FPS on HD content and more than 75 on FullHD !!!!!!!!! Unbelievable !!!

Please Stan make an image for the newer boards man !!!! Pleaseeeeeeeeeee (((((

I think it is impressive what feedback stane is getting for his build.
Cant wait for a newer stable version with hibernate etc.
I habe more tvs which should have this box with this build.

Hi, on my box Tronsmart s89-h PCB "s83h v2.1 s802a/h p6330/2g/16g date 2014.05" works perfectly. But I do not know, it's old or new PCB revision.
