Not really.... I do not like this box in general and it is not fun to work on.
If Acemax or ENY comes out with a decent ROM so we don't have to port Beelink or Minix ROM's to it, then yes maybe I will work on it again.
This last ROM I did using the latest ROM from ENY with the interlace issues, kind of turned me off to be honest. Seems some think ENY/Acemax does a good job at supporting their boxes but alas, they don't seem to be. How long now since the problems people have posted here have been voiced and where is any communication from ENY/Acemax been forth coming on fixes and a ROM? Pretty sure they have moved on to 3288 etc and this box will be like the Imito MX2...... you get what you have!
Bummer I know but I like to work on things that are being worked on not left in the dust....
JustMe seems to have taken on the challenge to keep things going so I will leave it in his learning and capable hands! He keeps up the good work here and I may have to make him an official dev!

Rom gets stuck
Anyone having problems with the rom getting stuck near the end? Any tips?
Edit:
Oke so got it working. Works like a charm. Thanks Finless!
I still have one issue witch i thought the Finless rom should solve. That is the blue led issue. The blue led never switches off.
Anyone knows how to solve this?Last edited by Flacito; 09 November 2014, 16:28.

No Audio with 24hz.
Just installed this to try and resolve an issue I have with this box, but it hasn't worked. It may be a problem with my Onkyo Receiver but that has been fine with other hardware running XBMC.
Basically, if I select 1080p/24hz the receiver cannot lock on the audio stream and I lose all sound. It works fine at 1080p/60hz and 1080p/50hz. Any ideas what could cause this anomaly?

a/v out on the m8 box - working?
Hey Guys, quick question for all you M8 users - I'm using Finless 1.8 (thanks Finless btw, you rock)
and I noticed that using the A/V out on this box with the rca cables going to the tv, is not working properly - anyone else experiencing this?
I used the same cables for the mx2 boxes I've come across without issue - any ideas?
HDMI works fine by the way, its for a friend without a HDTV.
Thanks!!

I have a big issue with this rom the issue is that my M8 Overheats when playing games like Asphalt 8 or Dungeon Quest.
it overheats and freezes my whole box.
the only reason I got the rom was for the XBOX Controller support for my Logitech F310
is there any way to fix this issue I have already installed Setcpu to change the CPU Freq I lower it when playing games but it still freezes kinda desperate at this point.
It only freezes when playing games like Asphalt 8 and Dungeon Quest I can play them for like an hour to 2 hours than the box freezes and is hot to the touch.
I think is has something to do with the Kernel not sure though.
