      Kind of depends on the zip. Most are ok, SuperSU was failing because it searches for boot partition using 'by-name' and , god knows why, AML doesn't use it

                Yes I had. What I did not try is to remove it and reinsert it. Perhaps it would then have been recognized by TWRP.
                This is not my box (a friend's one). I may want to try once more over the weekend. But, again, for me it's OK that I could backup to USB stick.

                        That's a TWRP made by me for a s805 device.
                        My bad. This is a wrong recovery that i flash and it is not working. Are you able to create a recovery only from the info from the text files? My device is mxq pro 4k amlogic s905 1gb/8gb p201.

                                Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.
