        I think it's better to try benibennassi's card while shorting nand pins.

            I manged to connect the box to pc by shorting pins 7-8 and connecting a usb cable to the single usb at the back! Now Aml flash tool recognises my box, but i dont know how to flash!!!!!
            Any flashing methods?

              To flash with aml tool you need a img format rom, and as far as i know there aren't.
              Try this:
              Turn off tvbox (unplug it)
              Insert benibennassi's sdcard
              Short 7-8 nand pins while pushing reset and turn on tvbox (plug in)

                I think i found a rom but not in an img format. This tool dont ask for img btw but for zip....

                  Great work on the TWRP, I have a small favor, would it be possible to upload a newer stock recovery for tomato m8?
                  I get boot loop with the stock recovery provided.. have flashed more then once and redownloaded it

                    Minix X8-H beta 9-2 firmware

                    I tried to restore a backup of this firmware on a few boxes with beta 8 firmware. No luck these boxes don't boot.

                    Looks like Minix has changed the partitions that TWRP cannot detect.

                    What is the easiest way to solve this other than flashing the box with beta 9-2 before a restore?

                      A little confused by the instructions. I copy the zip to my SD card then what? How do I flash from recovery?

                      I guess I just havent really played around with the stock recovery yet on this M8 box. Does it clearly say how to flash a zip?

                        Updated to 2.8.1.0 and all stock images also.
                        if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
                        then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
                        $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;
