I have attached the recovery image that comes with the new box.

It appears to be an AMLOGIC Meson8. Meson chip version = RevA (1D:A - 0:74E). This is the memory map from last_kmsg: (I think this is the pertinent part you would need - if I remember correctly). I would do this myself but don't have the experience I'm afraid.

Let me know if you need any other info on the Q2 box.

    Test this image - https://www.freak-tab.de/abdul_pt/am...MatricomQ2.img

If something is not right, upload the ouput of the commands 'cat /proc/partitions' and 'ls -l -R /dev/block'

Hi. Its most likely bricked. As you where told in other threads use the method of unbrick posted by JD in the knowledge section for your device. If you use that and fail post in that Thread. That board has been recovered via that method already.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

          if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];

              Abdul,

Thanks for your efforts on building a TWRP for the Q2. I tried it and it does not work.

But, I found one of your 2.8.7.0 recoveries that seems to work perfect.. My apologies but just got it working since there were a few challenges as explained below. I have tested most of the normal functionality and it all functioned as expected.

This is the recovery that worked in the OP:

              TWRP 2.8.7.0 T8PLUS

If you still want me to continue testing the TWRP that you built let me know and I will run those commands you asked for.

I refer you to the link below where I also presented my need for a TWRP for the Q2 as well. It explains how I got to this working TWRP version:

I found an S812 based TWRP that works !

The TWRP 2.8.7.0 T8PLUS works for the Q2 box.

BUT, you have to copy it to your SD CARD using an Android based file manager. Copying it to the SD CARD using Windows does not work!!

I have a 250G hard drive attached to my Matricom Q2 and used FTP from my Windows PC to copy all of
the possible TWRP files to the hard drive.

I then used ES File Explorer to copy it to my SD Card as recovery.img. And poof - it worked!
Tested all of the normal functionality and it all works. Now perfectly happy with my Matricom Q2 box.

              Cheers
I am also sending along a little something to thank-you for your efforts.

              Cheers

hey guys i have a trouble with twrp for my m8s. it is a clone device. I tried to rename twrp n200c without emmc to recovery.img and put into sd card with pin hole method but it does not boot into twrp, only to stock one. This is a working firmware for my device hopefully you guys can identify this device and make a twrp for it. Thanks

MyGica is useless for putting out anything useful to their user community. If anyone has any TWRP and custom ROM for the 1900AC, there is a whole community waiting to get out from under their crappy software
