    Really interesting. But now which is the touchscreen installed on our tablets?

    After reading the touchscreen issues, it could be that black and white Cube could have different revision (not models!!!) of the touch screen.
    Black tablets were the first released by cube, then cube presented white models so it could be that touchscreen controllers on the white are better isolated ( = new revision) and less "sensitive" during firmware flashing.

    Some users reported that during charging the touchscreen is not responding well (match with what I read in the link you have posted).
    My WHITE cube doesn't have any problem to be used during charging, this is another behaviour that lead me to think that white cube tablets could hava a new revision of touch screen.

    Is there anyone with Cube in BLACK that have no issues using tablet during charging?

        Mine works (16GB black) fine during charging. I'm using a 2A charger made by Asus and 1.8A charger made by LG. Both work well. The factory charger may have a problem.

          Tried two times, no luck.

          Wifi is ok, MAC address is not changing anymore and is not the same shape than before nvram flash. BT Mac changed too.
          So i think/hope/whatever nvram.bin flashing did something, except i have no IMEI yet, will try to restore it later with MUT.
          Did you flash using the spflash method or restore the TWRP Nandroid image backup directly? Since the backup was created from your own device, you should not experience any change in IMEI and Mac addresses. Does TWRP still work with your mouse after the touch screen malfunction? If not, I would recommend to try restoring your NVRAM Nandroid backup with a nontouch recovery one more time. Let me know what happens.

            then we can try to make a statistic using the week of production and not the colour only.
            Week of production is written on the back with Serial Number and is:

            U65GT16GB1427....

            u65gt = model
            16GB = 16Gb flash
            1427 = week 27, year 14 (this is written on the back of mine)

                    I use an apple (2.1A) charger, i did not use the tablet a lot while charging but did not notice any lag.

                      till now all the black models are older than white.
                      Dead ones seems to be built before than week 27.
                      cube could have changed something between week 24 and week 27...

                        I followed Dejan's instructions, so i renamed my nvram.emmc.win to nvram.bin and used Smart Phone Flash Tool in Dejan's zip.

                        I agree and expected IMEI to remain after restoring nvram from my backup, but it has gone.
                        I just tried to retore it with Mobileuncle Tools, it did not work.

                        I'll take a look at that option.

                        Thanks !

                          MTK Engineering Mode

                          Would someone with a working touchscreen give me a few values using MTK Engineering Mode ?

                          MTK Settings -> Hardware testing -> Touchscreen -> Settings

                          I get
                          tpd_em_log = 0
                          tpd_em_log_to_fs = 0
                          tpd_em_sample_cnt = 16
                          tpd_em_auto_time_interval = 10
                          tpd_em_pressure_threshold = 0
                          tpd_em_debounce_time = 0
                          tpd_em_debounce_time0 = 1
                          tpd_em_debounce_time1 = 4
                          tpd_em_spl_num = 1
                          tpd_em_asamp = 1

                          Thanks !
