but the funny thing is, that SPMC plays the 1080p much better than the "forbidden" Chinese version
But the best player is MX Pro (the same like the different stock player but also audio at ac3 (DD) and DTS(-HD)...) it eats alland better than SPMC (e.g. big bunny 60 fps)...
Agree with the best player on my previous post and yes big bunny 60/ plays beautifully through as over 40 files (4K/30/60.mp4) can confirm that playback is exellent with HDMI 2.0 through this player using latest O.T.A.
Agreed SPMC is great for most files as is XBMC/KODI but still work needed on updated 4K/UHD support and h.265 still needs lots of updateing to but that is no surprise..

I used the word pro in the description because it was the version that I had but yes, at the moment (but might change) the free version has the same functionality, just with the addition of non obtrusive ads.R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

Three issues
Google Music
When streaming (tested with Wifi) it plays track number one then when it's time for track two to play a popup message is shown "Could play..". If playlist is stored locally problem seams gone. Similar problem on RK3066/RK3188.
Archos video player
Upnp source not found, it's just idle. XBMC founds upnp source directly.
Log files attached
Unmount storage
I unmounted a usb stick when playing Spotify. Music stops and Spotify says it can't store data (if no usb is used no problem with this). I tried to take a log but I got a error message about not able to store log. Seams the box got conflicted about the storage, USB stick shouldn't have anything with store data right?Beelink R89

A few thoughts
Since Oman got audio working through HDMI, I have spent more time "using" this R89 box. Everyone uses these boxes for different purposes. I am trying to have the holy grail of an all in one box. By that, I mean I want this box to be a mini PC, which it does very well, I want it to be a media player, and that it does very well, I also want it to be a DVR.
The hardest thing for all the Android boxes I have tried, is streaming live TV from a roof mounted antenna. This R89 box is handling those mpeg 2 TS streams almost perfectly. The 1080i streams perfectly without any lost or skipped frames. The 720P still have a few lost and skipped frames, but you would never know it, without having the diagnostic overlay being displayed. Even my 4 year old desktop computer drops a lot more frames.
I have been using the latest SPMC to watch live TV. I tried the latest Kodi 14 beta nightly, but it drops and skips too many frames, causing the video to be a little jerky. Even though I can only get stereo from SPMC or XBMC, having the audio come through my A/V receiver is so much better than my TV speakers.MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Should I ask permission to preinstall SPMC right now? Or I should merge something from his git repo to make a new xbmc versionMK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

in some tablets with rk3288 users state that mxplayer does not allow hardware decoding. Can you test please?
Thanks
