    Edit:

Still no network even after 109k4 update.

I've been fightin with the network card since purchase, upgrading to 109k4 fixed my audio issues but not my network issues.

The logcat.txt file shows that no Ethernet adapter is found! syslogs attached

Since installing the HDMI patch for 109k4 my Internet Connection speed over Ethernet is back up to my ISP cap of 25 Mb/s. Howeber, wifi is now down to 1Mb/s. To me there are only two issues regarding the R89 that need to be resolved; Wifi speed and Audio pass through of some audio codecs.

the speed at wifi depends on the used ap-chip... ap6335 is really fast...

I have a UBOX R89 (ap6210) - Ethernet speed is good but Wifi not.

First you test this Ethernet Lan to another device(eg..Laptop) to check whether it's ok or not..
If this is ok,then I think it's a HW issue, you should send back to where you buy

Are you sure it relates to FW update? So 107k4/108k4 is fine?because we didnt modify any parts of WIFI module.

How did you get the result of 1 Mb/s?
Easy way to catch LOG -> Search 'Syslog' in Google Play, then install it and catch log

No, it is not related to the FW more related freshly installation FW. In cases I have seen degradation over time in others it is slow from the word go. I am using Ookla's netspeed. I have tried clearing cash etc but could not see a difference. Internet over wifi has been slow since day one (compared to the Tronsmart Vega) If no one else is complaining it may be just my specific router/TV box combo. I only post this to see if anyone else with the U Box (ap6210) version is experiencing a similar problem.

I only use the wifi for testing purposes since I prefer to use a wired Ethernet for anything that is stationary. When I renovated my house I made sure that I have enough cat5 wire in the walls

I also have the ap6210 Beelink box, tested the speed using the same app you used. I got 13.3 Mbps download, which is my max, with Ethernet. Got 9.3 Mbps with WiFi. This is using the latest firmware and last update from Oman.

My router is about 25 feet away with no obstruction.

Can you maybe do multiple wifi tests one after the other. I had it that my wifi test would start at 13Mb/s and then as i repeat the test it would start dropping. Then I would switch over to Ethernet, repeat the test and it would be back up to 22+Mb/s (over Ethernet) and then when I switch back to Wifi it will remain at the low 1Mbps.

My router is 15ft away visible through an open door. Wifi Analyzer would read the signal strength at -48 dB (solid green).

I rarely use wifi, so I never really noticed what you were referring to. After I run the test, your observations were correct. I ran the test with a minute or two between test. Here are my results, I only wrote down the download speeds.

Ethernet is now working after flashing USB RomTool flash of Tronsmart 109k4 RK3288-20140929

Well, I'm glad to say my Ethernet card is not bad! I did not want to go through the hassle of shipping this beelink box back.

I ended up using the new stock firmware for the Tronsmart Orion R89 109k4 RK3288-20140929. Now to test audio passthru to see if that still works.
