Hello skippie... I'm glad you are back from the V975M brickyard, now with a Cube Talk 9x!!! eteles from ondaforum.com here

Before you flash the ROM, I recommend that you only write down your IMEI or make a backup of your NVRAM... Personally, I think making a NVRAM backup is too much... So, just write down your IMEI (in case you loose it after flashing) and follow the instructions to flash the ROM.

What I think is a great tip is this one: do not change the root app that comes with the custom ROM... If you do, you will surely have problems with titanium backup and probably other apps that use root.

Inside the folder with the ROM, choose the corresponding .EBR files for the size you want for your system partition.

Installation of TWRP is highly recommended too. To install it, just use rashr app or replace the stock recovery.img file in the package for the TWRP .img when flashing the ROM.

Enjoy your tab!! Now you have a real TOP device.

EDIT: now I see that my post was too late... But I'm glad you've figured it out...

thnx Eteles, i'm very pleased with this Cube. So fast, smooth, wow. Compared to the 975M a big difference.

i installed the rom with TWRP i guess, how can i see TWRP is installed ?

BTW i don't see the root app anywhere.

Don't worry... The SU app is installed as a service... 900supersport told me it was the only way for the tab to be rooted properly (to work with titanium backup, for example).

You can use an app called rebooter to reboot to recovery... If TWRP is installed, the tab will reboot to TWRP (if you don't know how TWRP looks like, it's not a problem... This version is themed and you will see a lot of colors).

If TWRP is not installed, the tab will boot to stock recovery (very poor graphics and just a few options...) Use volume- to navigate and volume+ to select option to reboot tab and try installing TWRP again using rashr.

This would make titanium backup unusable... If one wants to use TB on this tab, do not mess around with the SU app. Leave it the way it comes with the ROM.

The reason it's not working is because he probably changed the app for superSU...

i get a message when the tablet is started :

UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable.

              What do i do ?

How do i solve this problem ?

I can't use TitaniumBackup either : insufficient free storage space and i got a 32gig tablet + 64 external SD

You can flash TWRP using spflashtools if you need to. Just download lepi's TWRP from http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post198940 and select the path and check the recovery box only and flash

Is the current widget working with this tablet?
I'm trying but I can see no current readings

If its not working can u suggest me some program that will show me which apps are battery hogs?by the way the battery is excellent after the brightness mod

I get way over 10hours with a single charge

You can go to settings and select battery and it will show you what apps are using the most power

                      What's the difference between EBR1_2GIG and EBR2_2GIG
                      same for 6GIG
and which one should i choose ?

thanks thats a nice option but the settings/battery shows the accumulated battery drain which isnt very helpful

for example if you let the tablet go to sleep and check it 10 hours afterwards, the standby function has the most battery drain which is not exactly fair

thats why the current draw reading would be helpful. to see that the gps for example is a battery drain (which I suspect it is), or that this application always stays awake etc..

Not true: i rooted my tablet and installed supersu (updated later via xda-forum), now my tablet is correctly rooted and titanium backup works perfectly!

You should use both... There's a place to select EBR1 and another to select EBR2.

Wiping data will solve the inconsistent system error, but probably won't fix the titanium backup error... I had all these problems with my tab too and after hours trying to fix it, the only solution for the problems was flashing ROM again using sp flash tools.

After flashing ROM again, do not change or update the root app... It WILL make titanium backup unusable and the only solution will be to reflash ROM or restore system partition using TWRP (if you have a backup)...

ok, gonna reflash and not touch the root app
                              Thnx eteles.

Question : i am at 37% battery, is this the reason why it won't flash ?

                              It's ok, it's flashing.
                              TitaniumBackup is working now

It's definitely true... I can reproduce the problem any time I want... Flash ROM everything works fine. Install superSU app (using XDA .zip or playstore, both lead to the same result) titanium backup gets unusable, reporting not enough space to backup and after trying to restore, it just hangs on 0%.

If you don't have this problem you are lucky or you have done something really right
