Since there is no touch screen, any game that requires touch screen (sometimes it works for single touch games, but not for multi-touch ones) they do not work correctly, there are some apps that let you use a phone as a remote control, but I have never used them to see if they work for multi-touch

I just flashed the rom and I am now Typing this on my Wireless USB Keyboard on the Installed Browser from your ROM.
My Wireless USB mouse works great (Onn Wireless Mouse) and my Logitech Wireless keyboard works too.
Now I just need to figure out how to replace the Startup screen and start installing apps!

I am working on 1.5 but nothing really new, other than some small bug fixes. I wish kernel development was more open for this device. I am trying out some 4.2 builds for other devices and see if I can hack one for our stick, but no promises

I get a lot of crashing and restarting on 1.4. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or what. Crashes on SBMC at startup and several other things like bluetooth toggling.

Did you by any chance use a program like titanium backup? Or is this a clean install? Try deleting the cache for sbmc and see if that helps

I have been looking for a cheap media streamer. Just bought a stick locally from Gamestop for 15 bucks! Looking at video reviews online of similar dongles I see this will work better than my raspi for streaming! Once I see if I can side load amazon prime video along with a few other apps I think I will have a great portable media streamer. I've heard people here using the dock for ethernet but others using a dongle. Which dongle is everybody using? I worry about the shitty wifi I hear about with Bluetooth so I was thinking of going to Ethernet. How crappy is the wifi now? I ask becuase I use Yatse to control xmbc. Is it possible to use a external usb blutooth adapter instead of the internal one to improve wifi performance?

The wifi is terrible. I tried to stream a movie with the router less that 2 feet away. It was so choppy it was unwatchable.

Anyways, the WiFi is bad only when used with the Bluetooth. Otherwise is not THAT bad, but I would recommend using ethernet instead. I use a crappy 2 dll ethernet adapter that I had lying around, and it works so I assume any adapter will work. The dock has some issues that I cannot fix since I don't have one.

I agree totally. Local gamestop just had one on hand wanted to get rid of it, gonna buy a few online plus a few docking bays. This is by far the cheapest streamer I ever owned for 35 bucks I get a hell of a deal. niabi what resources do you need to get this project moving foward? I think I spent close to 75 bucks to get my pi to do half of what this does. Considering how many installs I plan on doing in my house you saved me a boatload of money would be willing to toss some towards you or get you some gear if u need it! I imagine I am not the only one that feels that way! I know you live in mexico would some type of western union work for ya?

I appreciate it! but the main problem is that GameStop won't even take my payment, second problem is that they don't ship to Mexico at all! if someone is willing to ship it my way I would appreciate it but I am not even sure how expensive shipping would be or if its worth it.

I wanted at least one more so I could experiment, and not be afraid of bricking it, although I do have a way to recover (I did it once) I am still a bit afraid that I might kill it, then I won't even have one :P

since the dock has problems enabling the Ethernet, I was thinking of getting one as well so I could test it and potentially find a fix for that, of course anyone with a dock is more than welcome to try and find a solution

Someone could buy it here in the states and take it out of the huge box and send it that way. Would be cheaper. I'm looking at possible hard mods but this is the first android device I've had in years.

Gamestick and a dock would be like just under 2 pounds.
