Depending from which firmware version you will upgrade from, you could also benefit from improvements in Skype Video conversation that were released in a previous firmware version a few days ago and I believe that are included also in this firmware too.

What are the steps to update to .35 without a wipe? I am currently testing the BETA .26 firmware.

                Prepare / Download IDB failed

                Hi,
                I need your help.
                I have a 2GB /16Gb HPH-FO-N6 with the Firmware Version 1.1.9.

I tried to update the Firmware with the Android Tool 2.3 under WIN7 64bit.
I tried the 1.3.9, 1.3.26, 1.3.35 and the mo123 rom. None of them worked.

The drivers are installed and the Android tool recognizes a Loader Device, The LowerFormat succeeds. but when I start the updating, ist says "Prepare IDB failed" or "Download IDB failed"

The device is not bricked, after I switch Power off and on again, it boots as nothing happened, but with the old firmware version.

I have no Idea what I did wrong and in the previous posts, I didn't find an answer.

Does anyone have an advice for me?

Low format succeeds, and you're booted into old rom? Something's not right here. That's either false or impossible. There's something else at play...

                    Thanks for the quick response,

After your response, I tried to figure out, what else could be responsible for it.

After trying another USB-Port without success, I tried another computer.
I installed the drivers on my neighbors Win8.1 Laptop an connected the box with it. This time, everything was ok.

                    Made the upgrade.
Box works fine with stock Firmware 1.3.35 now

I just received my HPH box, it has firmware 1.3.37

And after a few minutes I got this, it returns to normal again within a few. But then it starts over again.

Did anybody else see this ?

And the USB port directly beside the HDMI out is not working.

                      Bart,

                        Bart,
Try a different HDMI cable or TV.
You are probably the only one with this issue.
Also try flashing a ROM back to your device.

I download the Beta and the release version, via the nagrace site.
No problem downloading the BETA version, but I download already 3 times the release file but every time it has unexpected end of the rar file and CRC errors.

                          Bart,

Why do you download such old firmware?
