    What do you think?
I think that's the exact box Codesnake is working on, so it would be safer to wait for his official release. My box is neither a TV110 nor an MXQ, but Kerber's TV110 builds work perfectly (aside from some remote.conf changes), and Codesnake's nascent MQX stuff got Kodi up and running. So to me they seem compatible. Flash at your own risk though, but if it doesn't work out I'm reasonably confident that you will be able unbrick it. Try TWRP recovery image to get a full backup before you start experimenting.

Found what went wrong, used WinSCP and I don't know why.
Guess it was to early and not enough coffee or maybe to much.
I then used explorer like I always have done and all went well....

      Cheers

Hello codesnake, having major audio issues, with m8 ROM on t8 box, works fine for a while then no audio at all. When I attempt to make changes to the SYSTEM, AUDIO settings as soon as I go into them I am unable to navigate and the AUDIO DEVICE is grayed out and blank. Any advice on why it may be happening and a possible solution. Same happens in confluence skin as in others.
            Thanks, Gabs

Let me introduce a new device I have build for - WeTek Play (http://wetek.com). It is a TV box based on dual core AML-8726MX SoC. It supports dual boot out-of-the-box - you can boot pre-installed Android from NAND, or OpenELEC from an SD-card.
WeTek Play could be equipped with internal DVB-T/DVB-C tuner or dual DVB-S2 tuner, and you can easily use it in conjunction with tvhedend to watch Live TV in Kodi/XBMC.
Will this box support dvb-s2 on openelec?

I heard that the price will be around 99 EUR. As far as I know it will be released next week, and you'll be able to buy it at http://wetek.com.

Just received my m8 testing the new OpenELEC 5.0 RC1
I find couple of issues first the remote a bit sensitive press once and sometimes scroll twice through the menus does someone else have this issue ?
Also not showing the Bluetooth adapters is not a big issue but would be nice use my iPazzPort KP-810-10BTT

Many Thanks codesnake for all your hard work.

Had this issue with the standard remote to. When I switch to using Yatse Remote with my smartphone this doesn't happen anymore. I flashed my M8 with the link Codesnake provided me. With that I flashed the M8 so it now boots Openelec immediately.

Thanks a lot Codesnake! Flashing went perfectly although I used different steps then I originally thought I had to use because I couldn't find a resetbutton and therefor couldn't get into Recovery. Somewhere in the Android invironment you can see the settings of the box and there you can look for updates. I there choose the zip update file and the M8 was flashed with the Openelec which works perfectly!

Now on your Github I see there is a newer version (Rc1 of Openelec 5). Is it advised to flash that version and if so will it remove my installed addons and repos? And how whould I flash a newer version (taking into account that I don't seem to have a resetbutton ).

Once you have OpenELEC on your box, you upgrade it by placing the update file (.tar extension) in the update share (\\openelec\Update by default) and rebooting. You don't need to 'flash'.

If you do want to get back to recovery, you can issue the command 'reboot recovery' from a SSH session.

I do have a general question, my M8 was close to 2ghz now with the openelec it clocks at 798mhz is there a way to over clock this or am I doing something wrong or what? Not sure if it's my box or what
thanx for any help from anyone
