I have a box Android M8 MX Amlogic Android and have installed kodi no xbmc and happens that causes cracking in the sound from time to time. What is it?

Wrong thread, this is for OpenElec, which is a linux OS with KODI, not Android.
sounds more technical problem than kodi/android, if it is only from time to time.
however also overmodulation can happen, so please reduce volume on the box first.

There will be a big release tomorrow for Wetek, OpenELEC 5 final with updated dvb kernel for dvb-t/t2-c/s/s2.
What I'm hoping for is a new tvheadend version though, there has been lots of improvments in the latest versions, most fixes makes switching channels alot faster.

Hope Codesnake will follow suite and release OpenELEC 5 final for all :-)

Linux builds for 1gb square M8

Are there any Linux builds available for a 1gb Square S802 M8??

Anybody have any idea's, have a MX2 box, brand new. When I rebooted the system it wont boot at all. I get nothing on the screen.

The light on the front will not change from red. Doesn't look like it is coming on at all, any idea's?

Big thanks codesnake, got your rc3 on a m8n and it's great.

Although , I appear to be having a problem with audio on some live streams.

For streams with audio AAC, 32000hz I do not get any sound.

I have tried the same streams on a couple of other devices (rpi running openelec 5.0 and windows running kodi 14) and they work fine.

Any help is appreciated.

I get this too on some streams, they also drop loads of frames. I'm using the stable 13.2 release on an M8 square.

If I change output configuration to fixed in audio settings I get audio on all streams.

No sure if I am dropping frames... If I am it's not noticeable to the naked eye.

Where is the stable 13.2 for M8? I can only see a development build in the op.

Yeah that's the one I mean, based on the stable version of XBMC/Gotham. You'd definitely notice it if you had what I do, it's like a massive jump every other second or so.

I'll have a mess with the audio settings, cheers.

Have you found you need to toggle this at all, ie do some streams need it switching back to optimised?

ntsc or pal? how to change from pal to ntsc for av output, cause here on start i see my m8 logo from bottom to top then nothing? can i change it with ssh?

How do you setup a TV tuner with a OE M8 box?
I have a compatible USB TV Tuner, and have checked all over for some info..
What client do I use settings etc..
