    Will this work on a Vigica c70s stb ? If so how does it scan the satellite channels in ?

      Need help guys.
      Have openelec 5.0.8.1 installed in this device MXQ S85 - http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_94...9h8aAst08P8HAQ

      Need to install android and I don't have no recovery

      I tried to install firmware Stock, finless, etc with the method of RESET, but does nothing, just start OpenELEC?
      How can I restore RECOVERY?
      Neither works by connecting the PC to use USB Burning Tool
      Thanks

        I apologize in advance, I am a newb. I flashed the latest m8s OE to my m8s and everything works fine until I try to watch something like sky sports through sports devil at which point the screen goes black and then says: Mode not supported. The resolution is not supported on this tv. Please change the resolution. I didn't have this problem with my rpi running OE or my mk808b plus running kodi on android.

        I believe the problem might be h264 streams, anything that has been labeled h264 has caused the problem, otherwise it's just hit or miss for live tv. Haven't had any problems streaming with genesis. Some h264 videos do work but I believe all the ones that haven't have been h264 it happens when streaming some live TV and some you tube. Bbc and sky news are examples of streams that never work.

        Any help would be appreciated. Also, I was wondering does the openelec for the m8 tend to be more stable? Should I buy one of those instead?

        Thank you all, and if there is a better place to post this my apologies, please just point me in the right direction

                      I'm pretty sure it's Isengard 15.2 RC2

                            So far I know that M8S is not compatible with OpenElec. You must have M8 with S802. M8N won't work either. S812 won't work.
                            Please correct me if I am wrong.

                              @KimKnott,

                              I have an M8n and use this Codesnake version of OpenElec: https://github.com/codesnake/OpenELE....arm-5.0.3.zip It work just fine. Been using it since 2/15/15 with no problems.
