      this is true,
      but also low cost smartphones have the compass ...... this is not a low cost tab

        What perplexes me is that different sensor apps shows it having a compass sensor, but I dont know why it doesnt work maybe its not activated in the ROM?

          it's not present on cube, full stop.

          I've had the compass on my former pipo tablet and it has never worked correctly!

          For DAGO: this cube is a low cost tablet compared to the others!

              Yes, it shoulb be... As stated here:

              They always say that the cpu is clocked at 2GHz, but it's not true, they are always set to 1,67GHz, chinese producers are patented liars!

              In any case, it's not a good reason to send it back, in my opinion! If you are not happy of your new tablet, I can buy it from you, I'm Italian too and a collegue of mine could be interested in buying it!

                I am not disappointed with T9,
                I was just testing its features, I think it is a good product, not excellent but good,
                my touch has no flaws (I only removed the screen protector external),
                screen with good definition and beautiful colors
                wi fi good without problems,
                3G reception strong,
                powerful processor and good amount of memory (but the partition dedicated to the app is limited)

                defects:
                some sporadic reboots,
                4G does not receive even if my location has 4G coverage,
                does not receive Glonass,
                but these are probably caused by firmware not mature

                  Reboots are quite strage... Never had this issue with my talk 9x, and as far as I've read are really rare on T9 too. About 4G you are the very first that have this kind of problem!

                  Did you upgrade your firmware with fota?

                  Don' t worry, cube is one one the most reliable chinese brand on the market, you have bought a very good product.

                      I tried 'MHL' with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cable;
                      IT DOESNT WORK as announced;
                      unless it works with another cable...
                      In contrast, Miracast (with Ezcast) works perfectly ;
                      music, photos, videos, web and 'screen mirroring'....
                      and, as I already said, 3G/4G datas, phone capabilities, SMS/MMS work in France...

                        I have had quite few reboots with my unit too.
                        I am keeping an eye now that I have removed the screen protector and that seemed to have solved the touchscreen issue so I am curious to see if it solves reboots as well.

                          Have you tried to do a factory reset? Probably it could solve this issue.

                              Well, it seems like Cube on V1.6 FW has unlocked CPU max frequency on T9
                              At least that's what is see on CPUZ/System Info DroidDroid
                              CPU Max Frequency 1690 MHz
                              CPU Current Frequency 1859 MHz
                              If someone here is on older FW like 1.04/1.05 maybe cold check this...will be awesome for us.
                              That explains increased Antutu score up to 41200 pts. after 1.06 update.

                              L.E
                              After 1.06 has come OTA entire system responsiveness/performance was increased...like a jet engine, at least that is what I feel right now.
                              Here is another sofware with octacore support, 3C CPU Manager...an tremendous result

                              If this will be confirmed, explains what was in previous posts about reboots...
                              CPU's are not equal in stability on low volteges and this encreased frequency paired with low voltages could lead to some instability/reboots.
                              Maybe CUBE engineers could make some fine tunning in this area at kernel level and all of us will be happy.
                              I have not seen an single reboot on my T9 until now.

                                to see all supported freq enabled in the kernel I suggest you to use the app CPU SPY PLUS.
