I am disapointed, I got it because with a 64bit processor it would get Lollipop otherwise whatsthe point of a 64bit processor...

Oh well, it still works with some glitches...

Thats the problem with chinese tablets imo, the support lifespan is so short.
Don't worry, there was Chinese New Year holidays in the meantime!
They now are coming back to work.
I hope that something new will arrive soon.

Cube talk 9x is still supported, so for T9 will be the same

Might depend on if they get it right ...Cube, that is. If it proves to be relatively trouble free, I would welcome it over its competition. It is way lower in price than its direct competitors.

        What I see.
Heavier because of battery . Good in this case, as this type of tab is meant to be two handed or on a desk.
Thin in comparison to other Core M tabs.
I bet it is contructed more like the T9 with an inner roll plate/cage.
Less bright screen noted. I bet it has the matte applied under the glass for glare.

        I like it. 😀

I just updated to 1.07. Hopefully I stop getting the restart issues that I've had since 1.06.

              is it worth it?

For those of you who have owned both the Cube 9x and Cube T9, is it worth the extra cost? The T9 is currently about $260 on most reputable sites. I can get the 32gb 9x for $193. I'm not a gamer. Would use it for primarily for media consumption and minor productivity (docs). The T9 LTE won't work on US carriers. I know the specs of the T9 are much better. But for my purposes, is it worth the extra $60+ to get the T9? Why or why not? Thanks in advance for your input.

I have seen this error in the past.
Only working solution for this error was to reflash FW V1.04 through SP Flash Tool.
If you go to stock recovery and do check system integrity files, you'll see a lot of errors.
My recommendation is to reflash FW V.1.04 through SP Flash Tool, update OTA to 1.05 > 1.06 > 1.07, flash TWRP recovery and do a full/clean system backup (keep that safe onto your PC or something else) and root with SuperSU through TWRP.

I have owned the 9X, and it is a great tablet. You would not go wrong. It has to be one of the best buys there is now in the tablets coming from China today.

Mine was damaged badly ...dropped on a concrete floor, and then lost entirely on it's way back to China to be repaired.

The 9X is very capable and should fill the bill for you. That said ...the T9 I purchased to replace it is noticibly faster. It is also a bit heavier and thicker because of a bigger battery and a new, more robust internal construction. Those aspects do not bother me.

I really don't wish to find out, but the T9 may have survived the fall that the 9X did not.

There have been a few reports of a grainy screen on both models, but I have no issue there. There is a clear matte applied to the underside of the glass ...apparently to help with glare. Some tablets had a bad install of the matte, and it produced a more visible effect.

Geekbuying has a return option for the states that costs very little extra. If there an issue with a tab bought there, it is an easy return to an address stateside, not all the way back to China.

                          Hope this helps.

                            sorry, never did this
should i do every point from this list, or just a few of them?
                            1. Download TWRP_Recovery+CUBE-T9.rar in your PC link
                            2. Extract archive and you'll see MT6752_Android_scatter.txt and recovery.img files.
                            3. Power off tablet.
                            4. Open SP Flash Tool v5.1452.00 from my Google Drive link or any version of SP Flash Tool included in previous T9 ROM's V1.02 or V1.04.
                            5. Go to Scatter-Loading and browse for MT6752_Android_scatter.txt
                            6. All boxes must be unchecked, except recovery
                            7. Select Download only mode or Firmware Upgrade mode.
                            8. Click on Download.
                            9. With tablet powered off connect USB cable(do not use USB 3.0 port, only USB 2.0 ports are compatible) and you'll see progress bar working at the bottom of SP Flash Tool very fast ....at 100% you'll see a green check box showing Success.
10.Turn off SP flash Tool and disconnect USB cable from your PC.

Go to TWRP recovery from tablet Off state pressing/holding Power for about a second then press and hold vol+ until a menu displays at the bottom left.
Scroll through the menu options with vol+ and select with vol-.
You may need to know that OTA update will not work anymore with TWRP installed...only stock recovery will give you succesfully updates OTA.
To flash back original recovery.img do the steps described above (with original recovery.img from FW's V1.02/1.04) and OTA will work like before.
This TWRP recovery is the only way to backup/restore all partitions from T9 (including NVRAM) and to root with SuperSu avoiding chinese root programs.

                            Thanks

My advice is to wait a little bit more.
Price is going up for T9 maybe due to Chinese holidays and high demand.
My T9 was ~250 $ six weeks ago.
T9 is a big step forward when I look back to my ex 9X in a lot of areas.
Read on forum, was said a lot about pluses and minuses T9 vs. 9X.
On the other side, speaking about what you intend to do with tablet, Cube 9X will be good enough.
If I'll have oportunity to choose again...T9 will be my choice.

                                No,hold on.
It seems like I'll have to do another 'How To' about flashing ROM's with SP Flash Tool, step-by-step.
What you quoted was procedure to flash TWRP recovery/reflash stock recovery.
After 9 hours starting from now you'll find that here.
I'm really tired and need some sleep.
