Using V1 at the minute. A lot of people seem to be having the same problem. Any news on a release for V3 hopefully that will sort it.

Looking forward to a new update. i have the occasional crash with v1 getting stuck on black screen with grey android text. On occasions this happens but not a big issue.

I have been making a kodi restore with everything for 14.2 if you are interested. All working addons (lots), extra menus with live TV , live sports, addons, movies, kids movies, TV series programs and music. Can pm you with screen shots if
you are interested in using in the ROM?

hi thanks for this awsome rom i love that everything i want or need is already included only thing i am having trouble with is xbox360 controller support i seen a post where it said it was supported but you werent sure wether it worked or not any idea on what i have to do to get this working? i have flashed the emulator pack and the V2 from the website.

Edit just flashed the v1 rom as i read thats the better one still no controller support, still a top rom though main thing i want to use the box for is emulation so really hoping there is a fix to use the controllers

My M8 was freezing while streaming on xbmc for the past few weeks. I still had the stock firmware it shipped with 7 months ago. It had been working fine until then but nothing I tried would ever fix the problem. Been reading about custom roms since then but with little android experience I was terrified of bricking this box as I did with another manufacturers before buying the m8. That being said yesterday I got gutsy and installed v2 Megatron ROM. unfortunately my M8 had the Ethernet and wifi disconnect issues. I read that I could try and flash V1 as it was more stable in that department and yup, 24hours later still no disconnects! Thank you so much superfreak79 for this excellent rom that fixes my issue! I look forward to v3 and what that will bring! I even installed kodi 15 isengard and it runs super smooth! Kudos

yea v2 is buggy ..but version 3 will fix all them problems and more ...just trying it out now....good things come to those who wait

Sweet! im very grateful to everyone involved with this project. I thought my m8 was a goner... Now it works better than ever save for some random noise pixels every once in a while which I can live with so much more than the whole thing freezing every 5 minutes. (Any chance these random noise/artifacts are fixed in v3?)

Hey, is there a way to backup my kodi setup for whenever v3 releases so I don't have to start over from scratch? I've gotten ok at setting up kodi the way I like but it takes time and implementing a backup would be so helpful having just set it all up the way I like... I had tried the Xbmc backup app a long time ago but it never worked for me. Thanks!

thanks so v3 will have controller support? i found this http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...port-installer and though may as well try it but didnt work with this rom though did with finless 1.6 i am loving the megatron rom its fantastic and if v3 has implemented the controller support when its realesed i will be straight on top of it thanks for all the hard work you guys put into each rom i am now loving my M8 where as before i really just wanted to get rid of it

Im trying V3 now on M8 box s802 round remote..no root access yet, have been told they would fix it, but very fast speeds both wifi and ethernet..so far so good,..great job team megatron..hope u fix root ASAP..thanks a lot...i have seen they have used a different kernel !!

What box u using are u using M8 or M8N? Coz i have them both..havent tried on M8N yet as iam in doubt if it will work?only tried on M8?
