This radiosilence seems something not strange for geekbuying.
I will contact my credit card company for help, in the mean time I am still hoping geekbyuing will have a good solution.

I downloaded it from your blog as published here : http://blog.geekbuying.com/2017/09/mecool-m8s-pro-plus-android-7-1-1-amlogic-s905x-2gb16gb-tv-box-firmware-update-20170927/ But the update failed and the device is bricked. What you can´t know is that I am a retired It Specialist. I worked in a university data center. So before I try to flash something new - I always do a factory reset, a check of the SD Card i use to provide the update file and a check of the source where I downloaded the update from. Indepandent ROM developers in the freaktab forum investigated the issue with the faulty eMMC chip. In the meantime the hardware layout of the devices was changed. Newer devices have a KMC ( Kingston) eMMC Chip and already the newest firmware! And these newer ones do not have any problems. The faulty chip in my device can´t be changed because its soldered. Sending it back to china makes no sense because of the costs. I can throw it in the garbage bin. And I hope u will have a solution for me. All I wan´t is a working device.. I am not happy with the service I have received to date so I may end up talking to my credit card company. If I were to send this item back using Royal Mail as Geekbuying suggests, then there is no tracking for China, if I send it back to Europe - the option I paid extra for, then the item can be tracked.
Strange isn't it that you want me to send this back to China using an untrackable method.

↵I know you are on holiday, but when you return, you have to contact the manufacturer of the Mecool boxes. I purchased one of the Mecool M8S Pro L with Bluetooth Voice remote, but the Bluetooth and mic do not work.... Please advise. From my testing, it appears that the remote is not Bluetooth enabled. The IR functions work, but not Bluetooth.
